expensive for a loo but will last long term
I bought this for my campervan, a T5 VW and it fits just right behind the seats when the rock and roll bed is down. It is well made, sturdy, and easy to clean.My only concerns are the fact the lid will get damaged if it is sat on. My husband is going to devise some kind of box to prevent this as in a small space it will definitely be used as a seat!I thought long and hard about the cost of this but after looking into the price of the components to make my own, this seemed like a reasonable price, smaller and cheaper than other composting toilets.Anything beats the smell of a bucket with solids, liquids, and loo solution !!I've done a review on u-tube ( van life goodies) if anyone wants to take a more in-depth look at how I fit it in my van

Terrible design avoid
Terrible design there is a lip in the urine part so it pools . It is extremely uncomfortable to sit on as there isn't a toilet seat . The smell is terrible even after trying multiple differentethids eg cat litter ,peat ,sawdust etc needs emptying daily as the solids compartment is too small and also to avoid smell brought this for our narrowboat have since thrown this away and gone back to our cassette please don't waste your money very expensive mistake

very eco friendly but to be fully eco friendly you have to use both sides of the toilet paper :)

Impossible to wee neatly down the urine part
The urine part at the front has a small hole and it’s impossible to aim. I’ve had a few occasions that it all went into the solids section. TBH it’s beginning to get on my nerves.

Seems good
It seems robust and the seat is much more comfortable than it looks. Ive been using it with the coir stuff and there is no noticeable smell (its shocking).As others have said the lid may well not take weight- I have not tried sitting on that.Its a nice height you dont feel like you are squatting. That said if there was a slightly taller version with a bigger solids container I would see that as an improvement. But it is fine as it is.
