I love this. It’s small, yes, but the dimensions are clearly stated. You really have to read carefully with luggage - I tried a few other roller carry-ons that were the standard roll-on size but the interior dimensions were the same as this one. It rolls well, the handle is high enough (I’m 5’10”), and I was able to pack for an 8-day, 7-night trip to the Caribbean with this and a backpack. It was easy to lift up and get in the bulkhead, not too heavy or awkward. I like the side handle (not all carryon roller bags have a side handle). It’s cute. The inside material was higher quality than other brands I tried. I also have this in the next size up, which I would take for trips or trips where I need a bit more room for thicker or more clothes or shoes (for work or winter traveling). The color made it easy to identify but colorful suitcases seem more common these days.

I bought this in the black color two years ago for international travel. Yes it’s much smaller than the carry on sizes we’re used to in the US, but it works perfectly for UK/European airlines (even Ryanair). I just bought the nova teal color for my partner for our trip this summer and the quality is just as great as the one I purchased two years ago. Pro tip- buy the wheel covers that look like mini tires on here they work wonders for cobblestone streets. Also, buy the storage bags with the manual pump to pack your clothes in you’ll be able to fit more in the suitcase. Hope this helps! :)

First impressions of the suitcase are great! It’s beautiful, well-made, practical, and lightweight! It’s the right size for the airplane cabin! I’m not giving it 5 stars because it could have come with a TSA lock.

I have used this for three years. It's been dropped and thrown with little scarring. Really perfect. Mainly use it for international travel or when I have connecting flights to catch. It glides smoothly on hard surfaces but struggles a tad on carpet. It looks and feels smaller than other carry-ons I've seen, but that's good for me. My goal is lighter, smaller, easier. I saw someone lugging around a huge piece of luggage in Paris in 90-degree heat. Why? With this carry-on and a Homiee backpack, I can go anywhere with little effort. Love it.

I only ordered the carry on Omni 2 piece in Lagoon Blue in 2024. I searched a lot to find one small enough to meet all airline requirements for size and this line was the sweet spot for a carry on. On my first trip to the airport, I had to place it on the inspection table to go through the x-ray machine. When I wasn't looking, it rolled off the table and fell flat and hard onto the cement floor. When I picked it up, I was thinking it would be at least scratched. It didn't have any scratch anywhere and the wheels, handle, etc. were all intact. I just ordered the Medium size because I do plan to travel more and need a larger piece. After it's checked, not carried, maybe it will have a different outcome. I hope it will be just as sturdy as my carry on. I LOVE this color and am happy Samsonite still makes it two years after I received my carry on.

I had high hopes for the Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside carry on suitcase, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. The suitcase felt pretty cheaply built and not very durable. The unevenly distributed weight made it really easy to tip over, and the stiff handle added to the overall dimensions, which was important to me when I had to prove it fit on a plane by shoving it into one of the metal measurement cages. It was also disappointing that the carry on size didn't have the TSA lock built into the zipper. On the positive side, the suitcase had some smooth rolling wheels, which made it easy to maneuver through the airport. I also appreciated the bright color, which made it easy to spot among a sea of other suitcases. The expandable zipper was a nice touch, and it definitely came in handy when I needed to cram a few extra things in for a weekend trip. At the $90 price I paid, it's not a bad value, but ultimately it didn't feel like something that could fit enough clothes for a 1 week trip. Overall, I would say that the Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside carry on suitcase has its pros and cons. While it may not be the most durable or spacious option out there, it does have some nice features that make it worth considering, especially if you're on a budget.
