Hi, I believe they can work for any plants if you follow the watering recommendations for each plant. The sticks shows white for dry and blue for wet - that’s really easy for me to follow because I tend to over water - so this is perfect… Try and Enjoy!

Q: Can you only use one then disposable

No, if you read through it says you can buy replacement inner cores when they run out. Should last 6-24 months

Q: Are these suitable for outdoor use?

If it is a small pot sheltered from the rain, yes. A deep pot, and not sheltered, then no.
