Is it too low if you just put it ontop of your mattress? Will it go flat and make it hard to breath?

That depends on the height of your mattress, whether on box springs or shelves or frame. It will lay flat and the head is adjustable from flat to inverted.

It says this is a 2 piece set. Does it come with 2 covers?

Yes, it does come with 2 covers.

is this the colour as shown in the picture?

Hi AJB, Thanks for your interest in these Crescent Covers. Correct, the color shown is the stocked color choice. It is a neutral shade. Thanks again and we hope you have a relaxing day.-Your Friends at The Unwind Company

Super Soft

These face cradle covers are excellent. They wash up great; no pilfering at all. The fit very nice around the cradle with a velcro closure tab. I would highly recommend these for sure!
