My s6 is stuck inside, how do you open then when done?  there appears to be a front top latch but like the ok button and volume buttons nonfunctional.

Yes you are right there is a latch black button on the middle of front top, you could press this button and the front cover will be opened, and you could take your S6 out the headset. And also you are right the ok button and volume button are on the bottom and not for the open the front cover purpose. The ok button uses for touch screen purpose when you enjoy some apps needed to touch screen, and the volume button uses for pick up phone call and adjust volume of the head phone purpose. So does the touch screen button works just not that well on iPhone 6s and will i see the iPhone outside of the screen?

Yes, just same as all other VR headsets in Amazon market, the touch screen button is not work for IPhone(not only iPhone 6s) because of the iphone's special screen capacitive parameters, but this does not mean that iPhone can not use this device, there are more apps which does not need touch screen button to finish the shooting or enter in apple app store such as the game name: VR Modern Navy World War Adventure Free in apple store. But the screen button works well on Samsung phone. Do you recommend buying a remote for iphone users since the ok button does not work well for iphones?

Just same as our descriptions in the Amazon market, we are honest man, so we say and answer every customer with the merchandise fact and our honesty.  Honestly, all 3D VR glasses in our this price level including ourselves with touch screen OK button in whole Amazon market do not support the IPhone's Google Cardboard APP, because comparing to screen of Android phone, the capacitive screen parameter of IPhone's screen is special, so IPhone's screen is not as sensitive as android phone's, this lead the `ok' button works well on android phone and not work good for IPhone.  On the other hand, due to the closed IOS system reason, all the Bluetooth game controllers in today's market could not perfectly match the IOS system including could not use the controller to finish the enter function on the iPhone screen. We are in the process overcome this question. Actually there are less apps use the enter button in the market, there are more and more apps start to use new head select and automatically enter after 2-3seconds selected technology. If you really meet a loved app in IPhone and need you to enter and open, we recommend you two methods: one is click the screen with finger first and then put the IPhone into the 3D VR glassed for enjoying; or you could use a Samsung phone to continue use the OK button for your enjoying. Frankly there are plenty of 3d movies, 360 degree videos and many other virtual reality apps which do not need the ok button in iPhone app store for our beautiful life. I see bluetooth remotes required or included in other makes & models. Will this require one?

Yes we also saw another respected customer's review about ok button and the blue tooth remotes. We also take many thanks to her trying and sharing her experience to us and other customers, according to her review the remote could works well with iphone and the head phone does not work properly in her headset.  We are in the process of communication with her about this two questions with her and waiting for her question detail description now, because we have tried this VR 3D glasses same with her bought several times, we found the head phone works perfectly well, so we had wrote email to her and give her more advice to resolve what she met, such as, let her try to insert the plug into the iphone's headphone jack or cancel the mute function of the phone or turn on the increasing volume with the volume button which on the bottom of the VR glasses( the position is at the opposite to the OK button).  We will continue to contact to her to resolve any questions occurred in the using process till to satisfy customer finally.Actually, just like we had answered customer's question in this Q&A area, we have said in our production description that due to Iphone special screen reason, the OK button does not work well with Iphone screen, but this ok button will works well with Android phone screen. And also due to the IOS system strictly sealed reason, any other blue tooth controllers in the market all could not compatible properly with part of Iphone's games which needs to touch screen to finish some game action such as enter shoot etc. So we had told customer that the blue tooth controller will not work with Iphone's part of games which needs to touch screen in the game process.On the other hand, if you just watch movies or videos or some game which does not need touch screen action in your Android or Iphone, we could say that there is no need to buy a blue tooth remote.
