MGIMGI Lite Play Cart Bag

This is my first cart bag so I had empty pockets left over when I transferred the contents of my stand bag--I wonder what to put in all of them. The bag material is very sturdy nylon and the zippers seem durable--time will tell but I suspect this bag will last a long time. I bought this because my stand bag wasn't stable on the MGI Zip AT cart and twisted during a round to make some pockets inaccessible. This bag solves the problem--it was totally stable on the MGI cart during my first round with it and all the pockets are laid out so they are fully accessible when the bag is on the cart. My mid-round PB&J sandwich and soft drink stayed cool in the insulated pocket. The umbrella sleeve is great--the umbrella doesn't get hung up on the cart. I'm very happy with this purchase and the bag gets 5 stars.My only complaint is with Amazon--my first order was shipped from Los Vegas and then was declared undeliverable near Chicago in the middle of its cross-country journey and the price was refunded. I was invited by Amazon to reorder the same bag, the grey and black version which had been a couple dollars cheaper than the black version but now the prices were reversed. I stuck with ordering the black and grey one but I received a black one. The box had a tear/hole but the bag was unscathed so I'm keeping it.After 2.5 years of use during 2 rounds per week with occasional rain the stitching on one of the largest pockets gave out---the pocket I end up stuffing outerwear in as the day warms up. I think the large pockets could use heavier thread so they can handle stuffing better. I was able to repair the bag with a curved needle and heavy thread for leatherwork which looks like it will hold much better.

Overall, this is a good bag and it fits very securely on the Zip Navigator. Tested the bag on my Navigator over a pretty rough course, and the unit (cart and bag) showed good balance even while hitting large holes with an umbrella in the holder. It rates four stars in my eyes because it is not quite the same quality as my Sun Mountain Sync bag, which it replaced. I expect perhaps three years of use, playing once or twice a week.The pockets are well designed, particularly the water bottle pocket in front. It holds two one-liter bottles and my club cleaner. The other two front pockets are roomy and hold plenty of balls (one pocket) and accessories (tees, etc.). The side pockets seem to work OK, but I'm still figuring out exactly what goes where.I really like the 14 club slots, along with a putter holder on the side, as well as an umbrella holder. I throw my ball retriever in the extra space. I plan to use a several plastic club tubes to assist in separating the clubs, as they tend to catch slightly when being placed in the bag, due to the sloping position on the cart.Overall, it appears to be a good bag and it provides good value for the price. It is designed to ride on the Zip carts and it does that very well, with no twisting.

After trying 3 other bags, this was the best one for me with my MGI Zip Navigator cart. The base is cut to fit perfectly on the cart and keeps it stable from twisting. The pockets are plentiful and big enough to be practical and useful. It has 14 individual full length dividers plus an external putter holder. I use that for my ball retriever because I like the big slot at the front of the bag for my putter. That slot works really great because it is tall enough to keep my putter from swinging around and hitting my other clubs, unlike every other cart bag I have seen. The bag works good when used on a riding cart. When I was in a cart, the clubs sometimes had a slight problem going all the way down in the slot, but not a big deal. I wish the towel ring was on the other side of the bag but that's not a big deal either, I just hang my towel across the bag. If you have an MGI cart, this is the best bag to pair it with.

Bag is okay, fits solid on MGI cart, but putter tube has no base and your putter will bounce against bag bottom tearing hole in bag at the seam. Really poor design flaw. Tube should be 2 1/2 inches longer will end cap with thin padded foam base to protect putter grip.Bag stitched seams come apart after a year. Club slots do not keep grips apart in the bottom of the bag allowing grips to wedge together, making it difficult at times to remove or put clubs back in bag.Would not recommend this bag for the price

I bought this to bag specifically to fit my MGI AT electric push cart. The bag is great and fits the cart perfectly. Lots of storage and the full length liners are a must.

I like the bag because it is lightweight and fits my new MGI Navigator AT perfectly and doesn't twist or move during the round.The drawback comes when you try tu use this bag on a motorized golf cart, the strap will go over the pockets and makes things very awkward. Still, it works great for it's intended purpose on the Zip Navigator.

Sits right on my Zip 5 perfectly; plenty of room. Excellent product.

I purchased an MGI electric push cart in June last year. I purchased the MGI golf bag to go with it. I love the cart. The bag works well. But, it’s falling apart. The compartment where you put your putter has come apart at the bottom and it will no longer hold the putter. There are other parts that are unraveling. I used it all last summer but have not used it since November. I like the bag a lot but I don’t like that it is coming apart after leas than 6 months of use. Not happy.

I like that there is a place for everything. I dislike that even the bag goes on an MGI cart, it tends to slip to one side occasionally. This is irritating when I am trying to put the clubs in place.

Bag fits well on MGI Navigator trolley. Could use a bit more storage space in the side pockets. But I’m coming from a C-130 cart bag which can hold everything but the kitchen sink in the side pockets.

Works very well with the MGI electric cart, plenty of storage and compartments, highly recommend
