Good features & serves the purpose for emergencies.

I think this is a great little Gadget to have when you're in a storm or emergency situation. However, and this is a BIG HOWEVER, the FM tuner, while it has great sound and nice controls, has absolutely **no indicator** to tell you what station you're on!! Since Emergency Services will often tell you to tune to a particular station for local emergency bulletins, you need to be able to get to that station quickly. I don't know who in their right mind designed this without a station indicator, but they need their head examined.I would have given four stars except for this major design flaw.I've enclosed pictures with this review to show what it looks like out of the box. The red LED indicator shows that it's charging, and then it turned green in a little, while maybe less than half an hour, to show it was fully charged. The hand crank turns nicely. Like I said, the FM radio works very well. The flashlight works great, and the siren works also.All in all, I think it's a great gadget which is why I ordered it for my emergency kit. One great design perk is the USB charging cord that is built into the base. The USB output port is also easily accessible. I haven't tried charging anything with it yet, but when I do, I'll be sure to post an update on this review in future.

Fully charged, that's great. The USB port is the same size as the part one puts into the charger, so you need proper cord for it.I haven't had to use it yet. We've had a few blackouts so I bought this for emergencies. It's great it can be wound up instead of using electric to charge it when the need arises.

You would need to be some type of super hero to charge your phone with it, but in an extreme emergency I bet you could...I'm just to lazy to try. Thus the 4 instead of 5 stars. The radio tunes into the nearest radio tower, it does like to touch me...I'm guessing I'm it's antenna. I only wound it up for maybe 3 minutes and it holds a charge, after listening to the radio and using the flash light, when we lost power during hurricane Ian, i found it super useful. It was inexpensive, it was comforting to have...even with all it quirks I like it. Better than buying a bunch of batteries!

What an incredible bargain!You get a trio of emergency supplies for one LOW price!No worries about batteries dying out, because you need only hand crank it for a minute or so to charge it back up.I especially liked that you can charge your phone with this battery-free device!

Arrived timely and well packaged. Purchased for my 12 yo nephew who likes to wander in the woods to hunt or explore with his friends. I had hoped he could use for emergencies and enjoy it with his friends. Maybe okay for a quick charge up for his phone, but too difficult to wind for longer term use. I wanted it for his bug-out bag and hunting trips,

It's a great little unit and covers a lot of uses however the radio tuner doesn't have an indicator so you don't know what radio station you're on or how to get to the one that you're seeking. This seems problematic if in an emergency you don't have a lot of time left on your battery to be browsing the dial.

Listen to music at work. Happy to have a flashlight as well.
