Have been using Cisco Small business switches for my home network for many years and started with the Sg2xx/3xx series. You can configure via a Gui or command line. The CLI is not the one used on the enterprise line of the switches and I hear so many complain about that. There are no fees or such to get firmware. Affordable managed switch. I rest of my switches are the CBS250 series, but I needed more than four LAGGS this time. Has PoE and no fans, so it is quiet. Full local setup and control. None of the BS of config and control in the cloud.

This is a badass switch but it takes some technical know-how to utilize it effectively. I think the Catalyst series is a bit more user friendly and has more of the updated features that beginners may want in a Poe switch. but I bought this one first I don't know.

This switch surprised even me. I deal with network products every day, so not overly impressed by a new widget. This switch turned out to be quite nice, easy to set-up and manage. A better than average business class product for sure. Typical Cisco form factor, seems well built and so far has been very reliable. Item has been in use for about a year, I would buy more.
