My mom thinks she'll be fine with it (bought this as a gift for her) but if not we'll get bolt cutters and hang a different charm on it. The second thing is the lining of the purse. It's a kind of nylon and while great for cleaning, it makes a rustling papery sound. Again, something my mom said she can live with, as this purse has all the features she wanted (hard to find!)
