Does the lifelight animal carabiner flashlight require a screwdriver to replace the batteries?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us! To remove/replace batteries, you do need a small screwdriver to remove the battery cover. Sincerely, Austin Sun Company, Inc.

Does this company make these with multicolored flashing lights instead of just white

I don't know, but I love the ones I've gotten that are continuously lighting.

Does the button need to be held down to keep lit or does it stay illuminated on its own once its pressed?

It does need to be held down. Which is great! With a 3 year old who loves lights and consistently leaves them on... It's great that it turns off when he puts it down.
