Hi I am not sure what you mean by tennis ball fibers but it removes inground sand and dryed mud and all manor of pet fibers best thing i have bought you dont even need a very powerfill vacum as the tornador with the compressed air lifts the crap from down deep.. hope this helps

The ZV 200 is a kit comprised of a large mouthed plastic piece that fits on a standard tornador black with a separate hose that connects this plastics piece to a wet dry vacuum. There are several small plastic connectors also that fit in each end of the vacuum hose to facilitate, one to help with connecting the separate hose to the wet dry vac and the other to connect the separate hose to the plastic piece you fit onto your tornador. You need to already possess  a tornador black and a fairly large air compressor tank with this kit. You spray cleaning solution from the tornador tank onto your upholstery or rugs then you can suck up the dirt and fluid using the wet vac. It’s a bit awkward to use inside a car due to  the air hose and vacuum hose and solution tank and the larger cone piece on the front. 
The ZV 240 is a whole new velocity vac without the solution tank. 
You hook it up to a wet vac and it improves the suction and efficiecy of the wet vac greatly. It is less awkward to use and it really does a 10x better job with difficult situations like sand and pet hair. Not ment for sucking up large chunks though, use the wet vac first if you have theses. You could use a spray bottle with cleaning solution. Spray on rugs or upholstery and then use the ZV 240 to suck up the dirt and solution to make this a spot cleaner. 
It is not as awkward to use inside the car.
