Good, if a little lightweight. Large seems no bigger than the other size
Received the LARGE bbq in a couple of days, so the usual great delivery service. The box is 2-ply corrugated card, so farily sturdy and will be reused to store the BBQ and protect it whilst travelling. A bag would have been great, so I guess that's a an extra purchase to make.Unless they sent the wrong one, a LARGE is no bigger than the other 77cm version. Odd...and a bit annoying. It's fairly thin steel plate (time will tell if true stainless, but it 'feels' like it is) and not something I would want lean or sit on (when cold!) as it'll surely bend. BUT, it's better construction than I expected for around £50. It's lightweight too, so not hard to lug around.Time will tell if heat warps it or if it survives the knocks and bangs that a camping BBQ will need to take whilst travelling, but I reckon we'll get a good few trips out of it and the fact it's thin steel means that if it bends out of shape it'll surely bend back into shape. It packs smaller than two of the cheap round 'travel' BBQs it replaces, so less space taken in the car, and offers a lot more cooking space. We're a family of six and it looks like there's enough space to cook a fair amount on one site and warm it on the other.I'm 6'6" and the cooking height is good. It'll save a LOT of back pain compare to huddling over the small round BBQs we've used in the past so it's perhaps worth the money purely for the pain-saving.The basting brush, cleaning brish and tongs are small and OK quality - they'd probably cost a fiver if all bought alone, but they look sufficient for occasional use. I would have preferred a carry case/bag rather than utensils, but that's me nitpicking. The cooking grills are made of 1.5mm-2mm bars. They flex but are as sturdy as our oven grill pan tray, so not like the thin and flimsy ones on really cheap BBQs that only last a couple of uses before theheat makes them like cooked spaghetti. This is a usual annoyance of mine with cheaper BBQs, but this seems good here. Certainly not Weber or Charbroil quality, but far ahead of the usual rubbish and as they are chromed, there'll be no peeling paint on your food!Peeling off the blue protective plastic cover IS a bit of a faff, as mentioend elsewhere, but let's just think of it as an entrance exam - if you can't get the plastic off with a little effort and the occasional expletive, then you might want to reconsider whether you should also be in charge of burning coals. There are some bits of film left where plates have been joined, etc. but I suspect they'll magically disapper after first use.I was worried it would have lots of razer sharp edges, but thankfully it seems all the accessible edges are rolled over and safe. I wasn't seeking to slice myself but I've rubbed all the obvious edges and I'm intact. That's a big plus here, as a nasty cut or nick whilst camping is a pain to sort. Literally. There are many variants and sellers of the same basic BBQ, but I'd definitley recommend getting one with the lower shelf as this adds to the stability and will help avoid it splaying its legs akimbo if much weight is put on it.Overall, looks good, decent construction, great price and packs neatly. I'll give it some hammer in The Lakes next week and update the review if anything to add. * The large one I recevied with side trays etc is 101cm x 34cm x 74cm (LxWxH) * The main unit is 73cm x 34cm * Cooking area is 70cm x 30cm

Cheaply made working but not that sturdy
Its ok, however, it's very low, I wouldn't call it stable, and its way to easy to knock and tip over. Hence why the low score. The other issue is the coating that is placed and wrapped around the BBQ it's impossible to remove all of it, So the risk is run on the first firing that plastic will be burnt too. Looks like the latest thing from china, Yes It's ok for the price but sadly not safe enough, you have to think of charcoal placement for hot and warm spots for keeping food warm after cooking. Being a so called portable BBQ ( I have no idea who would want to carry this size of BBQ around) Awkward way of having to replenish coals as well, having to remove the grills, but then due to the BBQ not being veery stable lifting grills off if food was on would cause the BBQ to wobble as the grills rest in a little recess. The Charcoal area is not that deep so if this was used for a party youd constatnly be using messing around moving coals and therefore it's not viable. Yes it's portable however there are cheaper portable options that are safer, as well portable items are ment to be portable not, a long bit of wafer thin steel that's folding legs are badly designed. This was used for a stopgap for a party at friends. I have a few Webber BBQ's sadly they are not as portable as I wish. Dont spend chep on somthing that might be used more then once, which this item will, Spend a decent amount of money even on a grill that you might just flip burgers on as it will stop any false ecomony. Im putting money on that this wasn't covered and now is a lovely autumnal shade of rust!

A danger to mankind
The worst tiny flimsy bit of rubbish I ever saw. I realise the price is low but when this thing collapsed with hot coal in it it should not even be on sale. And no it was not because of me. The brackets to hold the legs are so thin (one was bent on arrival) that 12 briquettes are enough for the thing to be a danger. Do not buy people!

Happy with it
Easy to assemble and it is sturdy. It has a lovely finish to it as well, looks premium. It is also easy to clean. Easy to fold and so is portable - we have been using it to take between my wife's nan's and her mum's house when doing doing barbeques instead of purchasing the hit-and-miss disposable barbeque sets. We are happy with the results that we are getting from it currently.

Great choice
We wanted a portable barbecue, easy to clean and take on holiday and we came across this. It should be better than the ready and disposable barbecue. It does the job and amazingly. The coals burned well as we can now use charcoal and mix around until ready. This barbecue the food better than very hot at once with the instant barbecue. It’s lightweight is very portable which was what we wanted. It was very easy to set up. The legs are thins but they clips to the side and made of steel so it was strong. We have placed full try of food and it didn’t feel like breaking. A bit dirty but it was still easier to clean. We washed and placed in black bin bag for the next caravan holiday.

Suits the purpose
This little set was perfectly fine for our purposes. No complaints at all. I imagine I will use it a few times for small family barbecues. A plus factor was next day delivery!

Do not buy. Can not cook food safely no height adjustment.
Looked big enough for big family. BUT, no height adjustment on cooking grill, burns on the outside, raw in middle. Totally unsuitable and not safe.
