Perfect...
Exactly what I expected and wanted. I was looking for some discreet border fencing to put along my flowerbeds and walkways to hold holiday lights. Discreet is right. These are barely noticeable. The pieces are 18 inches total, but only about 12 inches is above ground. One of my main concerns, and why I wanted a thin, easy to bend metal, is my soil. It has a lot of rocks. A lot. They are impossible to avoid. I was able to bend the legs to go in the ground while avoiding rocks without having to move the whole fence piece and mess up the line. It's perfect. The pieces come pre-attached. They can be easy or not as easy to separate depending on the piece, but I 100% appreciated the pre-linking. It took much less time to put them up. The good thing about the thin wire is that it can be bent to make/follow a curve or bypass an obstacle and cut without power tools to fit your space if need be.-- Do they work? Yes, for me and my simple purpose of stringing holiday lights through them.-- Are they sturdy? Yes and no. Yes, they went into the ground (softened by rain) without issue and are standing up as expected. But no, they're not "sturdy" in the way that they couldn't be bent up by a toddler.-- Can animals get past it? Yes, of course.-- What kind of animals? Depends on the size and agility of the animal. It's a border fence, not a privacy or security fence. It's mostly for flowerbeds and decorative purposes. If the animal or person is able to step or push over a 1 foot tall barrier that's as thick as a piece of cardboard, then they can go past this fence if they want to. If the spaces are too far apart and something small is getting through, line up 1 row of fence, then line up another directly behind it and offset the pieces to close the gaps. Zip tie the rows together and you're good.-- Is this a long-term border? Possibly. Over time, the legs will rust and weaken depending on the amount of moisture in the dirt. The fence will start leaning due to wind and its own weight. If you want this "cheap fix" to last longer, you can always double up your fence pieces to thicken them and add stability. Zip tie a 2nd row directly behind the first row.If you go through the reviews, most of the negative posts are from people who didn't pay attention to the measurements that are given in the title, product info, and then again for all the customers asking "what are the measurements?" in the questions section and/or from people expecting professional border fencing for little money. That's not the seller's or the product's fault. You can tell by the product pictures that the metal is thin. You can also tell by the info given (taken with a grain of salt bc sellers are trying to sell you a product). Ultimately, if you're still not sure after reading the product info, seeing the pictures, and reading reviews... look at the price. You're paying for cheap fencing and you're getting cheap fencing. Online shopping is easy. Don't make it hard.

Inexpensive and Effective Fencing
I bought this to protect my front yard garden from dog walkers. I hoped I wouldn't need it but one inconsiderate neighbor made it necessary. It works very well. It is easy to install; just push it into the ground. The green color helps it to blend in. I will see how it holds up.

I’m very happy so far
I was looking for an inexpensive way to fence off an area of the yard for my my dogs so that the kids aren’t stepping in dog doo. I gave these a shot, working grate so far. I have 60 ft blocked off using this fence system. I have a springer spaniel and a pug. They are both older dogs. I know the springer could jump over it if he wanted to but he hasn’t tried. I know the pug could squeeze through the widest parts but he’s too old to try. I’m very happy so far, but like I said, my dogs are not as spunky as they used to be.

Finally some peace!
Perfect for keeping my large dogs from fighting with my neighbors dogs through the fence! I bought several of these and made a barrier in front of our fence. I love how they are long pieces of connected panels, vs a lot of separate panels that you have to connect.

Perfect low key barrier!
This is exactly what we were looking for. It arrived in perfect condition and was easy to set up. I really like how easily extendable it is. It's just high enough that my husky can't jump over it and it's low key enough that it doesn't distract from what is behind it.

High quality, easy to install
I bought 1 of these to put along my sidewalk to keep the dogs out of my brand new garden. Even though people knew the work I put in to plant the garden (age 84), they still walked their dogs there to trample it and and use it as a bathroom. I didn't want to put up a fence, so when I saw this light, non-obtrusive fence-substitute, I bought it. It was very easy to install and took me about 10 minutes, by myself, to just stick it into the dirt along the 44 feet. I didn't even have to take the sections apart first. When I saw the dog-walkers start using the other side of my sidewalk, I ordered a second one. Now I can enjoy my growing garden and also enjoy watching the dog-walkers use the sidewalk on the other side of the street, where there are just weeds and established shrubbery.

Tree guard from dogs
This has been great! I was able to split these into sections and they are baby tree guards for my new trees. I have 2 juvenile pitmix dogs that have up rooted the trees, so I bought these and the trees have stayed unharmed since I put these to guard them

Landscape fencing
This was the perfect solution for keeping our grandkids from trampling my seedlings. Easy to instal, sturdy and discrete. Now we are thinking of putting more around the tulips beds next spring to keep the ducks off the young shoots. I found it pricey but well worth the money

Very Good Quality
I was very pleased with the quality of the decorative garden fences. I actually did a repeat order. I used them to border all of my back garden areas because I have a young Golden Retriever, and I wanted to discourage him from jumping in the garden. The fencing is unobtrusive.

Crap!
so disappointed with the fencing.....I installed it and not even a month later the welds started letting go. I paid a good dollar for them and the wire is so thin......never buying items like this off Amazon again!
