beautifully designed container, flawed lid/top...
this is such a beautifully designed salad dressing container - It can hold 2 packages of prepared "good seasons" italian dressing. The lid snaps over the rubber outlet on the top creating a nice seal so I can shake the dressing container and mix the dressing without making a mess - all of the dressing stays inside the container where it belongs! this is what I love about this! on the downside - after hand washing and after less than a months worth of use, the top has cracked on me - it is still usable at the moment, but not sure how much more use I will get until the top cracks to the point that it no longer will stay on the container. (btw, the container is glass and the top is plastic).

Great device, except...
First off, we would love this if it worked as expected. It doesn't. When we originally ordered this in November 2016, we began using it immediately and it worked beautifully. After a few weeks, we noticed that the plastic cap that covers the pouring spout and snaps onto the top of the shaker, began to develop cracks. We notified the manufacturer and they IMMEDIATELY replaced the entire product. Wow! What impressive service! We had the replacement within two days. Now, after using the new replacement for a few weeks, we noticed the same problem developing again in the plastic cover. This time, we didn't wash the device in the dishwasher (despite that it is advertised as "dishwasher safe"). What a disappointment! We believe that the problem lies in the choice of material for that cap. It is too rigid a plastic for its intended use. It is meant to "snap" onto the pouring spout piece, but the cracks occur exactly where the plastic extrusions are, that snap into a groove on the pouring spout. That's where the plastic would need to flex slightly to allow the extrusions to snap into the groove. It's the wrong plastic for that job. As stated earlier, this is a wonderful idea and works well, until it doesn't. I hope the manufacturer can solve the cap issue, because I'd buy another one immediately, if I knew that problem was solved.

I bought two, one for my Tahoe kitchen, due to my back surgery we only got there when the return time elapsed. This container has a slow leak I cannot detect it but when we put in the oil, lemon juice etc etc, my counter was covered with liquid. Each time I cleaned the base more liquid oozed out.kindly send me a RETURN label, I will reorder another when my pain permits.Thank you Amazon you have been a life saver during my medical ordeals.Regards Michael Mara STRAUSS

Functional and kinda pretty
I love to make my own dressings and was really excited to get this cruiett. Only drawback so far is the opening is a bit small for creamy dressings and since it's glass you can't squeeze it to help it out. Your stuck with shaking and smacking the bottom like the old fashioned ketchup bottles! You remember! I really like the shape. It helps your grip when you're shaking to mix and we'll also to get those creamy dressings out. Looks much nicer on the table than a plastic bottle. :)

No drips!
I've purchased so many containers to try to find one that doesn't end up with an oily mess all over the container, and I finally found one. Love this container. I deducted a star though because I've only had a month, and the top cracked already. It seems like a pretty thick plastic, so not sure how it happened. It still doesn't leak though so I'm still using it. I'll have to eventually order another though. Hopefully this one just had a dud top.

Great - except the bottle top cracks
This is a perfect salad dressing bottle for those who like to make thicker salad dressings, and use a lot (which is definitely the case for us!) Its easy to fill, mixes well, doesn't leak, pours well, and is very easy to clean. But it has a huge problem - the top cracks. We bought one (via Amazon), liked it so much that we ordered a second - and while the second was en route the first bottle top developed a crack. Thought it might be a fluke -but the second bottle arrived, and it cracked before we had a chance to put anything in it! Meanwhile, the first bottle top has developed a full set of cracks, which makes me wonder how long it will take before it crumbles completely. Think I'll try tapping it up, and hope the manufacturer fixes the problem in a later run.

Loved it but left disappointed
I really loved this salad dressing shaker; used it often. After about 4 months, the plastic top cracked and eventually broke. Thought maybe it was a fluke and went on Amazon to repurchase the shaker because I really do love it. However, after reading the reviews I see that others have had the same problem with the broken plastic top. So disappointing. Now I need to find another shaker. Any suggestions?

since it is a good unit. I just hand wash the plastic cap
Glass body, as advertised.Stainless steel band, as advertised.Brittle plastic cap, which not details were given for, didn't survive the first time through the dishwasher.I did buy another, since it is a good unit. I just hand wash the plastic cap, and the other plastic part (just in case).
