Excellent lav mic. Nice thick wire,which should mean it will last longer than those overpriced Rode lavs that go to lav mic Heaven within a year. Sound is comparable to a Rode,although Rode lavs pick up just a little more on the high end. I am a cryptid and wildlife researcher,so my microphones/recorders are used for picking up as much background sound as possible and not for background noise reduction. These mics are best for conferences where everyone needs to be heard,possibly some acoustic music shows - although I have yet to push any such limits w this mic,and outdoors/family gatherings,as well as nature recordings - which come through quite clearly. The only drawback w such a hot mic is wind noise reduction,which must be adjusted manually. This mic does exactly what I bought it for,and I'll likely be ordering 1 or more of these as a back up in the future. I've used Rode,Saramonic (wires wear out on both,but good out higher frequencies as well as lower),Azden - which makes another solid lav mic,Behringer (garbage),and a handful more. settling on the Comica and the Azden as my 2 best options.

This produce is something that I've been using with my students and clients in recording voice-overs for podcasts.

This lavalier works as well as many of the major name brands for 1/4 or the cost. I have tried many over the years as a mobile dj and so far just the wind noise being eliminated has been awesome! This mic is inexpensive and works with the Comica brands and probably anything with an audio 1/8 inch connection. Since I purchased in April 2026, the price has dropped even more at the time of this review. I have used it for 3 weddings and have had 0 complaints. No one knows it is a under $30 lavalier mic. If it should get lost or misplaced, I do not feel as bad as if it was a high dollar name brand. The cord tucks in a shirt pocket or inside a jacket along with the Comica battery powererd microphone or you can run it under a shirt and jacket easily for more concealment. It also fits nicely in the Comica 4 mic recharging case for transport! I will be buying more!

It certainly works. But it's just too "hot" for my setup as a mic on a camcorder. Even when placed some distance away on my person, my voice booms out and clips with distortion. So yes, it picks up everything, but wasn't practical as an upgrade mic for my camcorder. I'm sure it picks up whispers very well if that's what you're looking for.

I have the Comica 2-transmitter wireless mic system & got sloppy on a shoot the other day and put the mic in my pocket but the lav fell out, hit the ground, and I stepped on it, stretching it like a banjo string. Thankfully, these were available and I'm back in business with both transmitters. Really appreciate Comica having these on Amazon.

Used for a motovlog set up and the mic is too sensitive. Unfortunately, there is only an option on the GoPro to ADD 20db, not remove. Not the fault of the mic, just didn’t work great for my application.

Pretty good lavalier mike at a good price. This mike runs a little hot compared to many others used so keep an eye on your gain levels.

Good microp, but the cable is too short!
