EACHINE H8S 3D Mini Quadcopter Drone Inverted Flight Remote Control Nano Quadcopter RTF Mode 2 (Green)

You get a lot for your money with this. It flies well and the tricks and come back feature are a nice touch. The range however is limited on this and I think it works much better indoors. Outside it gets too much interference.

Came sooner than expected, item is ver durable, works even better with the ares props from hobbytown (just gotta bend the protectors juuuust a lil bit) and better punch out. Does inverted flying better than the jjrc h22. And seems to be of better paint quality. H22 kept chipping off.

Great little drone, can't beat it for the price

so much better than the original h8, the h8s board is actually the same thing as the floureon h101 with a different body, and the controller is also identical. I have way more than one of each. the yaw rate of the h8s is much much more normal and less sensitive in speed mode 2 compared to the regular h8, like the h101 also would be. the regular h8 yaw rate is way too sensitive in speed mode 2, even with resistor mods, whatever, it's still too touchy. this little guy, the h8s, is awesome. perfect yaw in speed mode 2, has a total of 2 speeds, does 180 flips, 360 flips, flies upside down, headless mode... it's great for the price. I have a very hard time seeing my h8s and my regular h8 when they're way up in the air with my TX and RX antenna mods, so I fitted this little h8s with a 5mm white LED bulb and a resistor wired to the battery plug terminals on the board. VERY BRIGHT NOW. no more of the "which way's the front again?" boom, there's a tree. yeah if you can't solder and/or don't plan to mod this thing, keep it close during the daytime, unless you've got a lot of room, or fly when it's a little darker out and you can actually see the lights on the bottom. I like this better than the floureon h101, the h8s uses a little bit of a lighter plastic body, picks up my new LED like it's not even there. I love this thing, great little quad, and it CRUSHES the regular h8 in every category... cept the range, I have modded h8 transmitters that go much further with the h8 than any of my modded h8s or h101 transmitters. it is definitely a little different than the regular h8, so no surprise there. that's my only complaint. I like to fly em HIGH up. super fun little quadcopter.update: bought another one of these (blue color) and I'm waiting for it to arrive. been having a lot of fun with this quad. modded the transmitter sticks so that full travel of the potentiometers is allowed, used a set of sticks from a different controller, and used rubber stick caps from an extra syma transmitter I had. grip is obviously much better on the sticks now. they show the internals a little bit because they are smaller sticks and the holes for the sticks in the transmitter case are bored out, but that is what allows for full travel of the potentiometers because the sticks do not bottom out on the circuit board or any components/wires now. the range with modded transmitter antenna (shielded cable with ~32mm stripped off of shield/ground and covered with plastic antenna cap) has allowed me to get this thing at least 200 ft. in the air and fly around way up above the trees in my yard... and the neighbor's yards. haha.

It is just ok for younger kids

Awesome little drone. Does flips and rolls with ease,also flies inverted, while inverted flips still work.

super fun toy to fly indoors. Cheapest way to endless hours of enjoyment for sure! Pretty easy to learn to fly as well. Very durable and can take a real beating!

This is a fantastic drone for a starter. It has great features like flip and fly inverted. Smaller drones can be hard to fly and this one like most takes some practice. I would most definitely recommend this one as a starter drone and is one of the better values you can find. I run a drone review website and spend a lot of time with drones like this.
