This is a simple but incredibly useful little device, especially for anyone who builds or maintains desktop PCs. Many modern motherboards no longer include onboard speakers, so having a set like this is convenient. Installation is very easy, they fit in smoothly but snug so they won't fall out. Just check your motherboard manual to locate the correct header, and note the positive and negative indicators if your board uses them, just to be safe. The speaker itself produces a clear, noticeable beep that’s easy to hear without being harsh or grating, actually smoother than some other motherboard buzzers I’ve used. These speakers are essential for diagnosing hardware issues, since beep codes can alert you to problems long before software does. In fact, a similar speaker once helped me catch a CPU overheating issue that my system wasn’t otherwise reporting. Getting a 3-pack is great for backups or multiple builds. If it doesn’t work at first, just double-check that the speaker function is enabled in your BIOS. All in all, a reliable and inexpensive must-have for PC builders. Highly recommended!

I was building a PC for my mother with spare parts I had laying around. Powered up fine but it would not display any video. Most motherboards do not have attached speakers any longer, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot problems like these. It took five seconds after connecting this piezo speaker to my board to find out that the RAM sticks are bad based on the beep code. This is not a problem I would have expected, given that these RAM sticks worked fine in the last PC they were in about a year ago. The connector is very small and fit onto the unused speaker header perfectly, despite being right next to a header that was in use. It's a product that is very valuable to have lying around if you build PCs. 5 bucks saved me potentially hours of head scratching and random component reseats, that would have ultimately got me nowhere with the benefit of hindsight.

Works perfectly. Not sure why something like these aren't included anymore with motherboards or cases. It's good to have one of these connected to hear the codes if there are any when turning a computer on.

Great littlle buzzer to use with your motherboard, in case it didn't come with one. The little wires are movable, if you take some basic care; all you do is gently lift the little plastic tab where the wire comes to and end inside the black plug. This was necessary for me because my buzzer leads were on pins 2 and 3, not 1 and 4. It is a delicate operation, though, so be careful. Build quality is adequate. Not the prettiest thing, especially if you are going for an A E S T H E T I C case design, and one wire was loose when the buzzers arrived. Not terrible, not not great eitheir. Anyway, it buzzes when it is supposed to buzz, so it gets a recommendation.

Works as described for notification of POST results and error beep codes. Only requires user to plug it into the correct pins on the motherboard.

This product works exactly the way it says it will and it will resolve the problem you want it to. If you need to hear a motherboard post sounds, this will do it for you. If you need it for any other reason, except maybe a DIY arduino doorbell, this is a terrible speaker that has no range, low dB and a weird wiring standard. But if you need a product like this, this is one.

Helped me figure out issues with my computer by hearing the codes. It's loud enough and easy to install. Plus, the beep when the computer posts is satisfying.

Amazing product quality and durability. If you are using it in pc which is situated in not loud vicinity, then it's perfect fit for you. Been using for 1.5 years now and having no issues.

Uno me llegó con el cable positivo despegado del speaker y lo tuve que volver a pegar con silicona caliente. No funcionó de igual manera, es una ruleta rusa y parce que depende de la paquetería el que lleguen bien o mal.

It's a simple buzzer, so not much to say except that it beeps as expected when attached to my motherboard. Possibly a bit quieter than expected, but still audible from within my (admittedly well ventilated) case. Delivery was much quicker than advertised, so thanks for that.
