Recently moved into a new home with glass shower doors that were in great need of hard water mineral deposit and soap scum removal. Wow! This product is impressive. The first set of shower doors came clean with one application, and was followed with the Rain-X Shower Door Water Repellant. The doors are crystal clear once again. The second set of glass shower doors took a bit more work with four applications of Rain-X Shower Door Extreme clean, but the extra effort was worth it. The doors look brand new! My only regret was not getting a before picture to show how bad the glass doors looked, but I do have an after pic to share. This product is very easy to use too. I used a damp cloth to apply the cleaner, and worked in smaller sections while applying pressure and moving the towel in a circular motion, as directed. I then rinsed well using a gloved hand to wipe off any extra residue. Once rinsed, I wiped the glass completely dry to check for any areas that needed extra help. Although the product scent and fumes is not overly strong, definitely use with an open window or fan running. Overall, this product works extremely well. I am very satisfied with the results, and how easy it was to achieve beautiful results.

This stuff works! I wish I'd taken "before" and "after" photos, because this cleaner really did clear away the hard water stains that nothing else would touch. It did take a few rounds and a fair amount of elbow grease, but the shower door is now crystal clear!

I used this on our extremely clouded glass shower door. We probably hadn't removed the hard water from the door in a year and the bottom of the door had so much hard water buildup it looked frosted. Ultimately it took over an hour and a dozen passes with an arsenal of products like lemon juice, vinegar and water, and Windex in addition to the rainx to get the door clean, however, the rainx did help me make significant progress and I think the gentle exfoliation it provides was a big help. This would be a good addition to any home with lots of glass and very hard water.

I have a clear shower door that you have to squeegee after each use and can only use certain cleaners on. It normally needs to be cleaned about once a week but if you forget to squeegee it (like my kids) then it quickly builds soap residue and becomes almost fogged. And if you don't clean it regularly (like my house) then it becomes very difficult and time consuming (at least an hour) to clean. That was before I tried rain x. The first time I used rainx was to clean the door that had to be about 2 months of soap on it. Now I still had to spend time and elbow grease but the door was never cleaner. Also I spent easily half the time (30-45 minutes with rainx) that I would of with a normal glass cleaner and definitely less product. So I'm going to use this every time for now on. Also I did not notice any difference after the cleaning as to the water on the door as with my usual glass cleaner.

This worked really well on one set of my shower doors and then hardly worked at all on another set of my shower doors. I’m unsure what makes the difference but I tried all sorts of ways and couldn’t get off the hard water spots on the one set of doors.

I purchased this product for my sliding glass doors that get condensation every morning which results in water droplets down each glass panel. I used a dusting pad either long handle to apply the product in circular motion as directed. I tried to remove with another clean cloth but in the end I needed to buff it out with a paper towel and some elbow grease. Good value for money. So far it has been gentle on my glass doors. I would say it’s compatible with meeting my needs. Removability - I would recommend using a paper towel.

Purchased because of soap scum build up on glass shower doors. It did take some off but I wouldn't call it "x-treme". Round one of scrubbing I'd say was maybe a 50% improvement at best. Second round I started with this stuff again, didn't do much. Rinsed. Went at it with just liquid bar keepers friend, that worked great. 90% of the way there again. Save yourself the moola, just buy a bottle of liquid bar keepers friend, and a scratch free sponge. I've also heard to try 0000 steel wool. I haven't taken time to buy and try that yet.

We just remodeled our bathroom and i love the walk in shower but unless we squeegee the doors there are water spots top to bottom. This is the perfect solution. Goodbye squeegee!

Stubborn stains are not going. Hard water stains still I could see even after multiple cleaning.

Good product dus as itit is a very good cleaning product seid good cleaner i have told you several times it was a good product it cleaned my shower a good job it did less elbow cleaning mixing it up and then wetting the shower firsts then spreading the cleaning solution one the walls in side shower windows and let it site for ten minute's then clean it with a scrubbing cloth then spray it down to reveal a cleaned shower in under a hour grate cleaner

Great product, Ive used the car windscreen one from these guys. This is also really good.
