Easy to set up, quality material, looks so good in my industrial aesthetic apartment. Couldn't be happier!

A bit expensive but well worth it. This looks stunning and is very well built and easy to put together. It is definitely a living room show peice and is highly recommended

Great unit, well packaged and organized, no damage, easy to assemble, color exactly as in the photographs (reddish warm brown), extra parts and tools provided in case of loss. Box is heavy, but you could open it up and carry each shelf inside individually. Each shelf and metal piece comes with a wrapper to protect the finish and all the holes lined up perfectly. Assembly of two units by one person in about an hour. I put the shelves on when the metal unit was upright, so as not to need to pull the whole thing upright off of the floor. Note: Because baseboards create an offset from the wall, it may not be practical to secure the unit to the wall as directed. To prevent tipping, you may need a method using a wall anchor and a zip tie. One concern - manufacturer should keep the shelves onsite for a couple of days to let the stain chemicals dissipate more. I noticed quite a chemical odor after assembly which required ventilation.

I bought this for my son for his first apartment. It fits perfectly with the rest of his industrial decor and I was impressed with how well all of the holes lined up for assembly.The shelves are solid wood, but, if you look closely, you can see that each shelf is made of multiple pieces of wood that are glued together. I assume it is a combination of cost effectiveness and resistance to warping. It looks nice though and I don't expect anyone will be taking a magnifying glass to it, so it is fine with me. Not to mention the fact that, if each shelf were a single slab of wood, they wouldn't be offering it at this price point.It does have a pretty strong smell out of the box, but it dissipates quickly.The only issue that I would have, if I were buying it for myself, is that the metal is hollow, so it does move a bit if you bang or shake it. That said, if I were purchasing something more solid, I would expect to pay a lot more.To sum up, I think this shelf is a great value for the money. It is real wood, not veneer, and is a beautiful addition at a very reasonable price point.

We bought this to be an actual book shelf and to carry multiple heavy books. We were worried that it would not be sturdy but we were proven wrong. It feels solid, is easily carrying the weight of the books .We were able to lean it slightly back for stability because we don't want to drill holes to attach it into the wall. Yay apartment living. But for lighter loads the 5 shelf setup should not even need the lean it's quite stable.It was assembled single handedly by my husband, the room is filled with a pleasant smell of wood varnish and the shelf itself looks gorgeous. So far we are very happy with the purchase.
