Easy to install. No need for installation tool and care in getting it straight. Just shove it in by hand. They say you can actually reuse them, but I wouldn't. One tip: always make sure the inside part can turn independent of the outside part. Turn it by hand before you install it. It's not like an automotive seal that turns on the shaft. The sealing surface is internal. The inside neoprene seal you see is made to simply seal, not turn on the shaft. If the seal doesn't turn on itself, the inside lip will turn on the shaft, wear out and leak. I know. It happened to me.
