Amazing router
First of all, this router looks amazing and it has decent performance for its price. I had an old Linksys N router before but it finally gave in and the 5Ghz become unstable. It was time to shop for a new AC router. I tried Asus, Netgear, and TP-link, and although the 5Ghz performance on those routers were all amazing, they all lack in the 2.4Ghz department. I have numerous wireless cameras still require the 2.4Ghz band therefore it is very important to me that the band is stable. I was not satisfied any of the three brands and had to return them all to various local stores and Amazon. I finally looked at this router, at $52 shipped, I decided to give it a try. I was having a little difficulty setting up the router because it kept wanting to update its software and firmware. Took me a while longer to set it up. But once I had it set up, I ran speed test and range test on both the 2.4 and 5Ghz band. They were both very good. The 5Ghz band isn't as fast (but still very fast) as the TP-Link or Netgear, but the 2.4Ghz is very stable and very fast. Also, this is the lowest profile, best looking router you can find. There is no ugly external antenna or a dozen of green flashing LED on the front. You can also disable the network activity lights in the UI. I have the router placed on my TV stand, so being aesthetically pleasing is a plus.Time will tell if this router will last, but my first impression of it is very good. For $52, you cannot beat it.

Works great for internet access and streaming
Works great for internet access and streaming. Wireless signal is weaker than desired. May be because of the build in antenna not quite sufficient. Did not pursue the issue since I hard wired the whole house.

Rock solid wireless routers, 2 years running.
--AvailabilityI own 2 Linksys AC wireless routers. Their uptime has been nothing short of amazing. One has been owned for only a couple months, the other I have had for 2 years. It has required 0 manually driven restarts. Firmware updates are even done automatically behind the scenes which is one less thing you have to worry about.--SetupIs straight forward. Linksys Smart WiFi allows you to configure and check on your router both locally and remotely. An account signup was required, but is well worth it for some meaningful details you can derive from the application. Some of these items include, who's connected, security configuration, firmware updates, ability to restart router, configure port forwarding. Pretty much the meat of the configurations you will need to do on the device.--DistanceAC specs don't necessarily support further distances. What they do well is support higher throughput at similar N ranges. This is done utilizing the 5ghz channels. If your device supports this, you may see an increase in speeds depending on your distance from the router compared to previous spec N.--Overall and Final ThoughtsI've owned a few different brands of routers in the past to include trendnet and netgear. I have never found something that was truly set and forget. With this line of Linksys devices to include 1 AC1200 and 1 AC1900 wireless router, I finally have that. This line of routers gets my full recommendation.
