Great little thermometer. Let's you stay on top of how things are cooking instead of guessing your way into undercooked (scares my kids) or (worse) overdone (scares me). I keep it in the drawer next to the stove and stuff it in my pocket when I cook on the grill. Even the hamburgers and bratwursts come out just right.

It works very well, but the off/on button cracked right away.

Having to check your temperature I’ve had multiple versions of this particular thermometer and it’s never let me down. But if you keep it in your pocket, it starts to get loose and it’s sleeve and eventually you will lose the sleeve or it will break, but that takes a while.
