Sensitive the way you want it to be.
I was adjusting a drape in front of the door-window balcony this is set up at. It triggered the alarm. LOL but I am extremely pleased! The lightest fumbling or criminal activity will definitely trigger this. Also it is nice to know these are good for hindering the openings into your home. This is used at a slide-across balcony door, but it was intended for a smaller window. It is too long at its smallest adjustment for a standard normal slide-across window in Canada.

got one for every exterior door
haven't used the alarm bit of the bars, but the bars work great. tested it with a big guy pushing from the outside and door would not budge. light weight but strong and adjustable means it fits any door. i like it can be used for a sliding door too.

Works as promised
The product arrived sooner than expected and was securely packaged. The bar is sturdy and well designed. I feel a lot safer having it at my front door. The alarm is quite loud and would scare any intruder. Looking forward to see how it performs over time.
