perfect for storing a tournoment chess set
I've had a tournament chess set for years, but just stored it rolled on a shelf with the pieces in a plastic grocery bag. I got this bag to store it neater and make it portable. This bag does the trick. My only addition would be if the tube were reinforced with a hard plastic cylinder so the board couldn't get smashed and bent. But compared to how I was storing it before, this bag is a huge improvement.

Tournament Chess Bags
Overjoyed to get this lightweight chess carrying bag to house set, roll up board, scorebook, and a small digital clock. Better than the larger deluxe bags. This is all you need.

Works well
The fabric seams heavy enough to be durable (though we have only had it a couple months). Style and color as expected from images. Even large chess pieces fit inside the rolled up board

Works perfectly!
Fits a "Best Chess Set Ever" perfectly, light and compact...loads and stores easily...would be 5 stars if it had padding or foam in the ends, I added some and my set fits great! Don't hesitate!

Large enough and no larger
My new "Best Chess Set Ever" *just* fits, foldable board and all, which is exactly what I wanted. The workmanship is good, with a sturdy zipper and decent strap. Perfect for travel.

Holds more than it looks (to me anyway)
Nice bag, seems pretty durable. The large "Good Games" pieces (4" king) fit with the rolled up silicone board, but only a Very small clock would fit. Seems like a good bag for the price, and doesn't require much storage space, compared to a box.I have only had this bag for two days, so I will edit the review if necessary after I use it for a while.

Avoid - Cheap and Too Small For Chess Matt and Pieces
Normally, I write good reviews. I try to avoid leaving negative feedback, but this time I felt the product was unjustly marketed.DO NOT BUY. For $10, get yourself a cheap backpack. I was hoping this was the same size as the chess quiver I used as a kid. Not at all.POOR DESIGN. Did not fit my chess pieces and matt.LOW QUALITY and DURABILITY. Cheap nylon and zipper. Stitching is low quality.Recommendation to mfg to fix:- add a section for chess pieces. It's 4-6" of space. Probably cost 10 cents for the extra material, zipper and labor.- give us like more strap length so we can use the quiver as a sling pack versus a carry by hand. The cost is pennies.- use better zippers and double stitch it.Better quality = more return customers. I will not recommmend the current product to anyone.
