Easy to use and stores well!
I love this gadget! It is a must have for a popcorn lover who doesn’t want all the chemicals of traditional microwave popcorn. Just put the popcorn in the bowl with a little oil, and you have delicious microwave popcorn with no fuss. My kids use it all the time, and it is so easy to clean (just pop it in the dishwasher.)

Great item
Love love love this popper.. Doesn't burn. Works well even with oil. It's easy to use and it's a thick silicone, so it doesn't get too soft when hot

Affordable, effective popper with a few flaws but not dealbreakers
Overall, this popper works really well! It is incredibly easy to wash and use. You just pour in some kernels, put on the cover, and put it in the microwave. However, it does take some time to figure out how long to put it in the microwave. Too long, and you’ll end up with lots of burnt popcorn. Too short, and you’ll end up with lots of unpopped kernels. I’ve found that it’s impossible to pop all of the kernels without burning the popcorn. So, I’ve settled on two minutes, which results in 70-80% of the kernels being popped and zero burnt popcorn. You can always put the unpopped kernels back in, but it’s kind of tedious to separate them from the popped popcorn, so I usually don’t. The popper gets very hot, so I always use hot pads to take it out of the microwave and put it in a microwave safe bowl that’s easier to handle (than the popper itself, which is a bit wobbly). You also have to be careful when you’re removing the cover, as it is very hot and releases a lot of steam. The lid doesn’t always attach securely on the first try, but the popper works just as well even if the lid isn’t completely sealed, so that’s not a dealbreaker. The popcorn itself has a slightly chewier texture than when I use a real air popper or make a bag of microwave popcorn, but it tastes great. I love that you can use the popper without oil or butter, which makes the popcorn much healthier. I also like the fact that the popper collapses to a very small size, which makes it easier to store. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves popcorn, especially if they have limited kitchen storage or space or live in a dorm room and just have a microwave.

Healthier and easy to store
I can’t believe it took me this long to realize there were reusable microwave popcorn solutions. With the recent data findings around possible carcinogens of microwave bagged popcorn, I was reluctant to go the stovetop route due to space and effort. We are fully converted off of bagged popcorn, and have been making bowls with this weekly for the last few months. Sturdy and easy to clean, though to note we do season in a different glass bowl as cleaning oils off silicone is difficult. Being collapsible is a great feature in our small apartment. Kernels pop consistently and well.

Exactly what I wanted
We absolutely love this bowl! I just add the popcorn (love that the lid has a built-in measuring area), butter, and popcorn salt all at once, pop in the microwave, and it’s perfection. Very few unpopped kernels, and so much easier than stovetop, plus no gnarly chemicals like the bags. It is quite hot, so use a dish towel, ovglove, or potholder to remove. One tip: wash by hand with a scent-free dish soap, otherwise the popcorn tastes like dishwashing soap or dishwasher detergent, just like anything else silicone. But my daughter and I are pretty sensitive to taste.

Best popcorn popper I’ve ever had
I was skeptical - what could this silicon bowl do better that a regular pot on the stove? Turns out, it’s way better. The microwave cooks more evenly, and in this popper I’ve never had single a burnt kernel, but nor are there a ton of left over unpopped kernels! It’s so easy to use - just put in a couple tablespoons of oil (I use avocado oil, and add in a bit of salted butter). Put in the kernels, turn on the microwave, and voila, perfect popcorn every time! We’ve ended up using this a lot. It folds up small so it doesn’t take up much space, and can be washed in the dishwasher. Add a bag of organic kernels and you’ve got a great gift set.

I Am Pleasantly Surprised!
I really wasn't sure how this was going to be. I love microwave popcorn. The ease of it, the flavor, all of it. So when this came, I had to go and get regular popcorn! I used Orville Redenbacher popcorn that just comes in the plastic bottle, and no oil or anything. I filled the middle section like it says in the directions and threw it in the microwave. It is a bit of a trick to get the lid on, but it only took a few seconds to figure it out. Filling the center section all the way caused the lid to pop up because it made so much popcorn! So the next time I put slightly fewer kernels in. There weren't very many unpopped kernels at the bottom. It's really good! I ate the first bowl absolutely dead plain. The next one I did add a little butter (I use a stainless bowl to which I add a little butter and set on the stove to melt. Then I pour the popped corn in and toss.). I bought a purple popcorn to try next. The popcorn comes out really crispy (after the lid comes off and it's exposed for a few seconds), and I can safely say that I won't be buying much, if any microwave popcorn anymore! Then I just popped (HA!) the whole thing in the dishwasher. It would be very easy to wash out. Then it collapses and it easy to store. I am very very pleased with this purchase, and will be buying more (with that Orville Redenbacher popcorn!) as gifts!

Gets very hot after cooking popcorn
We like this bowl but it’s not the best. Firstly, it gets very hot and you need oven mitts or a towel to get it out of the microwave. You can’t go straight to eating unless you put a towel on your lap. Also, it’s too small to make popcorn for two people, so we end up dumping it on another bowl so we can make more. Plus, if you follow the directions with the appropriate amount of kernels, it pops the bowl so full that you can’t drizzle it with butter or oil and put the lid back on to shake it around, it just sits there bec it’s to full. We wanted a bowl with a lid specifically so we didn’t have to transfer to another bowl and stir the toppings around, which inevitably ends up with popcorn spilling out all over the counter. And then there’s two dirty bowls. Overall, it’s a convenient way to make popcorn and it will leave just about a dozen kernels unpopped at the bottom of the bowl. But I might try a different brand next time. I like that it goes in the dishwasher and collapses for storage.

Insanely good
I used to pride myself on a perfect bowl of popcorn. But then an induction cooktop ruined my record and I couldn’t get it right. This simple gadget cooks remarkably perfect popcorn every time. I add a little bit of butter and it comes out crunchy with a lovely butter flavour. About 4.5 mins works in my microwave.

Yes, it is actually worth it
We use this so often in my house. It's such a simple idea and it makes the easiest popcorn. Also works really well for steaming veggies in the microwave if you're in a pinch!
