My 10 year old narrates summary sometimes and we discuss life through these stories. The one that I remember, how the three spiders parted away and what it means in general. Definitely a moving story and perhaps kids absorb much more than they express.

After reading through reviews and searching for Puffin classics for my 6 year old who is hifted with ability to read chapter books on his own..i decided to buy this book. The book is my best buy so far for him..it taught him meaning of some very beautiful words which he has registered in his vocabulary. The story even for an adult is mesmerizing..how a tiny miny spider creepy in real world is made to look beautiful and does prove to be the most loyal and intelligent creature and friend. Must read once in your time, also after the kid is done reading the boook advise to watch the movie...they will love that too.

story is fabulous. I have read it in two days because I never want to wait. Of course this story is good for child but also good for adult. Charlotte ( a grey spider) touched my heart and wilbur ( a pig) is liked by me because of their gentleness. But I started hating Templeton ( a rat). The plot of story was fine and really appreciable. E.B white had done great works. I liked it. Soon I will read it once more. :)

The book is very good but while packaging I think that the cover must have folded.

I gave this book to my granddaughter who is in grade 3. She loves reading and is excelling at it. She is eight years old and the book is a little too old for her but with mom/dad's help she is now mastering the bigger words. This book is a classic for the children.
