Works with K3 Electric Pressure washer with adapter.
EDIT: I just noticed today that there are two adjustments on this. The top dual for the amount of soap? and the nozzle to adjust the spread. I took a chance and purchased this and the " FUNTECK Pressure Washer Adapter for Karcher’s K2 K3 K4 K5 K6 K7 Handgun, Converts Bayonet Connection to 1/4 in. Quick Connect Female Fitting, 3000 PSI for the K3 pressure washer " because the K3's built-in dispenser is terrible. I used Turtle Wax Max Power which suggests a 1:1 dilution, but I used 1:10 as a test because I didn't want to waste soap. I replaced the k3's wand with this, turned the knob to max and started to spray. To my relief, it did a very good job creating suds, much better than the K3's built-in dispenser. For my next wash, I will use the recommended 1:1 ratio and take some photos of the result.

I’ve never used another version so I can’t really compare, can I? I’m using this one on a 4000psi gas powered washer, with a mixture of about 1/4 Dawn detergent and 3/4 water in the bottle. There are two knobs - one affects how much soap solution comes out and the other changes the spray pattern. Both worked as expected and were intuitive for adjusting spray to what I wanted. Happy enough.

Incredibly Impressed with the amount of foam
So I should preface with that I've never used a "foam cannon" before. I'll also say that I couldn't believe how much foam was all over my vehicle after this thing got done. I could barely see the paint lol. It definitely does its job and does it well. I'll update if I have any problems in the future with it but so far for the money, I'm pretty impressed with it. Pressure washer is a 4,000 psi & 4GPM machine
