I've drawn a couple of hundred sketches and a dozen papers with it, and haven't even used up a third of the packaging. For the price, it's just great, especially for students and beginners. That they were Charcoal sticks but firm charcoal, very dark
They weren't what I was hoping for. I will have to keep looking for the kind of all charcoal sticks I was expecting, however these are nice. They give a solid color and they flake off too easily and don't blend like I was expecting to get the effect that I was expecting. However for what they are they serve other good purposes for artists. So I can' knock them. They just weren't the kind of charcoal sticks I thought they would be.
