I've used this on my nails for decades... stengthens and protects your nails and hydrates them and softens your cuticles. It creates a protein/wax barrier that protects your nails and prevents them drying out and cracking or splitting. Originally developed for use on horse's hoofs to keep them from cracking, it uses natural ingredientss and fewer artificial chemicals than other cosmetics do. Horse hooves are keratin just like our nails and hair are, so it works great on all of them.I have thin nails prone to splitting, and tried other paint on nail strentheners (that are like nail polish), and those made it worse because the polish would peel and take a layer of the nail with it. Nail polisher remover also dries out your nails and cuticles. This product you just massage in (like a wax/cream), and you can also buff it in with a nail buffer, and it never peels off and you don't have to remove it.Great price, and one container of it lasts forever since you only need a little.

Not greasy and works well on cuticles

This is my go to hand/nail moisturizer. I’ve been using it for several years now and it helps to keep my nails and cuticles moisturized and looking great! I think it also helps with my actual nail growth because I notice less breakage and peeling when I use it consistently. If you struggle with dry nails and/or cuticles, I would highly recommend this

The skin around my fingernails and my cuticles are always dry, seems every few months I go thru a cycle where they are all cracked, peeling and bloody at the same time. During this, my nails will all split or peel and I’m left with such a mess of my hands, it’s embarrassing. Then they all heal, it’s all good for a couple months and then BAM they all go terrible again. I don’t know why, I leave them alone, they just spontaneously get awful. It’s been a lifelong battle.I’ve tried every possible hand cream, cuticle oil, hand mask... everything. I got this cuz it was something I’d not heard of before and it was pretty inexpensive.First of all, this came when I was mid-skin crisis. I used this overnight and put it on extra thick. It didn’t seem to do much, but my fingers were so bad at the time I kept at it. The next night I woke up and they were smoother and no longer hurt, I could visibly see the broken skin healing. Day 3 was even better. In a week, my splitting nails looked smoother and were growing. My nails looked lovely and my skin healed. So I backed off for a few weeks.A month or so later, I could see the early stages of my cuticles splitting. I put this on that night and the next morning it seemed all healed. I’ve come to just put this on every other night before bed and my skin hasn’t been in crisis since I bought it.A few observations: I notice no difference in results whether I lay this on thick or thin. So I use as little as needed. This stuff is thick and it leaves a bit of greasy feeling so I use this overnight only. I used this during the day when I first received it since my cuticles and nails were a mess at the time, but i left finger prints of it everywhere. I just use it at night to avoid that problem.Overall, this has been a game changer. I’m really pleased with the quick results when I notice my cuticles starting to flake and you need so little that it’s quite a bargain. I think this is something I’ll keep on hand for a long time to come.

The cream its self is great, not just for nails, good on heels and elbows too. The seller info is false, it is not 28 oz, only 4 oz. So frustrating that Amazon lets them get away with it. Their customers are not being treated fairly, at least make them correct the product description or offer the correct amount. I will need to order 6 jars to get 28 oz!!!

Amazing product! I waited months to write a review and can now confirm this is amazing stuff! I am one of those who has tried everything to repair my weak nails after gel usage. I'm telling you THIS IS THE STUFF!

My nails were in bad shape. Deep ridges, the cuticle was flaking off and over grown and my skin was incredibly dry.I expected the cream to take maybe a week or more to show any difference but I was very wrong about that.The moment I put the cream on I immediately noticed a difference. The cream it self is incrediblely thick so you don't need much and it smells pretty nice.My nails feel a lot better already and they even feel smoother. My cuticles don't feel hard and dry any more and it's only the first application! My fingers them selves feel pleasant now.If you're on the fence about buying this just buy it. You won't regret it and the price isn't bad for the amount you get. The jar is a decent size for the price.I can't wait to see what long term use does to my nails.
