I was very happy when I first saw these two aprons. Even happier when I tried the first one on. (The other one is still in its packaging.) What I want in an apron is a good tie (and this has excellent thick straps) and large pockets to hold things like small wads of paper towels, timers, etc.Unfortunately the second day I wore it, I noticed that the stitching at the top of one of the pockets had already ripped out. (See photos). I was really shocked, and could only surmise that the simple act of putting my hand in the pocket or putting much of anything in the pocket would rip it. Miraculously (considering my lousy senior eyesight), I was able to thread a needle and stitch it up. Hopefully that will reinforce the pocket and it will hold up well from here on .... and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the other pocket, and the other stitching in general on this apron holds up.Other than that, it's an attractive and comfortable apron. I was able to easily adjust the top part that goes around your neck so that it fits nice and flat against the body.
