Paint applied well, resulting in non-skid finish that pretty well matched what was on my '95 Hunter Legend. Unfortunately, the "light grey" color is not light grey. It's medium grey and does not match the original deck color. If I were to do it again, I'd mix 1:1 with white and that would be a lot closer to "light" grey.

Used the paint on my brand new reinforced shed floor. Used the primer first and it dried fast but the paint took forever, after the first week I thought it was never gonna dry. I had a fan blowing on it and even bought a space heater because I thought maybe it was too cold. It did dry after 20 days but I couldn’t put my brand new RZR away and it sat out in the elements. I’m thinking maybe I applied the paint too thick. The directions say to use a foam roller but I used a regular roller with a thin nap instead. I don’t know if a foam roller applies the paint thinly but in hind sight I would definitely use one. The directions should stress to apply thin coats.

Applied to the deck in my 21' bay boat. Looks good. The quart covered the deck floor with 2 coats. Only issue I had was that it seemed the "nonskid" particles in the paint rolled out a little inconsistently, despite shaking and stirring the paint. There were sections after the first coat that seemed like it was painted with standard latex paint and was still smooth, while other sections had the nonskid appearance and feel you would expect. The 2nd coat helped with some of this inconsistency, but I still found areas that were a bit sparse in terms of grip. This could have been an error on my end, or my method of application (4" foam roller) but just something to be aware of. Make sure you prep well, mix well and apply using the recommended method and you should be happy with the results.

I used this product for a section of the cockpit floor of my boat that was about 80 square feet. One quart covered it. Total Tread is easy to use and has easy clean up. The masking tape comes off with no issues. I suggest you not step on it for at least 48 hours. I tried after about 40 hours and, although dry to the touch, it was not ready for pressure. The grit is good, not overly aggressive, nor the least bit slippery. It spreads evenly and the grit appears to be consistent throughout the area. Also, it appears to be easy to clean. It matches the adjacent awlgrip that was done at a yard, and it will be interesting to see how it holds up. I applied one coat which covered well. It would be better to write a review after a season or so.
