Went from occasional travel crate to full time! It's that great!
EDIT: It's now been a little over 2 yrs and this crate is still going strong! We've hosed it down many times now without issue so anyone worried that it wouldn't be like a wire crate....rest assured, in that regard you're good. Is it as sturdy as wire? Of course not. I would only recommend this for a well behaved and previously crated trained dog. The funny part is we purchased this for our 20 lb sheperd mix, but her corgi brothers are always trying to weasel their way into it. It makes them feel super cozy. I'm not going to change my ratings for this, but I will say that that clip it comes with on the side is super handy if you've got a dog who's figured out how to unzip their crate from the inside. :| The funny this is, she loves her crate, just sometimes she decides to just unzip herself at night and walk around the house :|I have had this crate for 6 months now and wanted to really test it out before I wrote my review and I have to say...it does not disappoint!I've collapsed it and carted it around every other week for the past 6 months and it holds up great! It's very easy to clean and my little girl just adores it. It's so light and convenient. I don't know how I lived without it! We have a wire crate for her that we created a felt covering for to start our initial training with (and she goes in and out without issue) but it was just so damn heavy! That has been turned into my older dogs night crate (he's 12 and starting to get some accidents now :() and this Petnation crate has now gone from travel crate to her permanent crate and she couldn't be more delighted. For reference, we bought the 24-inch and she is about 19 lbs. She cannot stand comfortably in it because she's like 80% legs lol but she doesn't care! She darts in and curls right up in there without my even having to tell her. In fact, I don't even have to force her in, she just goes in on her own whenever she feels like it and when it's bed time, she actually whines to go into her crate to curl up with all her blankets and toys.If you have a digger or a dog that doesn't like crates, this might not be the best one to start out with because that mesh door is super flimsy. We purchased this for my aunt's dog and he broke out in under a day so I would definitely only recommend this once your dog has gotten comfortable with crates. Even in her rush to potty in the morning, she'll press against the mesh and I keep thinking any day now, it might give and she doesn't even really push that hard. But so far it has held up and I love that the top unzips so I can tuck her into her blankets before bed without having to do it through the front door. It also doesn't hurt that this crate takes up so little space and is really a nice looking crate!

Super easy, classy looking, easy travel!
I like it, the dog likes it, everybody's happy! Before I adopted, I wasn't sure what size dog I would get. But when someone offered me a ginormous ugly old plastic crate, I accepted. Then I got a yorkie. The crate was more like an apartment for her, but she loved it, so I lugged it around everywhere we went for over a year. I house sit and travel a lot, so it was really a pain. Then my Jeep was in an accident and I ended up getting a Scion xB. Great car, fantastic gas mileage, not a lot of room for a massive crate. This pup tent looked perfect, but I wasn't sure how well she would adjust, so I put off buying it for ages. So wish I'd purchased this sooner! First, it took about 30 seconds to assemble it. Here's a tip- don't try to connect the bars through the front door opening, you'll only end up frustrated. Put it flat on the floor, fold the short sides up, unzip the top opening, and reach in to grab the bars from there. SO MUCH easier. There are short bars on each side, the fold up along the long sides and meet in the middle with a coupling. Pull the coupling back, snap the bars together, let the coupling go. Ta-da, all done!To get her used to it, I placed it next to her regular crate, and for a couple days put treats inside it, leaving it open so she could wander in. Then I took the pillow from her old crate and put it in here. Instant love. The neutral colors make it look very nice even out in the living room, and it folds up flat for travel. (This is not a crate for transporting the animal in, it's just super easy to fold and go.)This is also not for a dog who is not already crate trained. If your pup will claw at the mesh, it will probably manage to break out pretty easily. Again for emphasis, this is not to contain an untrained pet. It is a comfortable spot for a reasonable well behaved and crate trained animal, who is used to being in a crate without kicking up a fuss. She sleeps in it every night, goes in of her own accord (most nights) and it's comforting for her to have the same sleeping area wherever we wander. My only wish is a way to put in a water dish, her old solid crate had a water dish on the metal door, I haven't yet figured out how to put any water dish in that won't get knocked over in the dark, and she does get thirsty overnight.
