Water Bottle Cages, Basic MTB Bike Bicycle Alloy Aluminum Lightweight Water Bottle Holder Cages Brackets(2 Pack- Drilled Holes Required)

Purchased these for my son’s bikes. They are great quality and sturdy and were super easy to attach. Their water bottles fit perfectly and stay in place. Great value, would definitely purchase again.

Perfect for my mountain bikes and the pre-drilled holder fitted the predrilled and tapped threaded holes already on the mountains bikes I have, so no drilling for me just bolting them on. You will need to buy additional water bottles for bicycles though. Cheap, about 7 bucks each only. Regular water bottles are too small to fit well. The color lights up on these and looks great. I bought Blue bicycle water bottles 8in tall and the combo really stands out nicely.

These are just as advertised, and very high quality. Best of all, I got a pair of them at a reasonable price... much less expensive than at a bicycle shop, and as far as I can tell, the quality is every bit as good. Delivery was right on time. The mounting bracket is welded quite securely. It's concave to flush fit on tubing, but should also work fine on a flat surface. They come with stainless steel hardware and an Allen wrench to install the hex socket bolts and washers. Perfect size for 12 oz cans or for water bottles. The "U" shaped clasping arm holds securely and can be adjusted by bending to hold the bottle or can even more securely, or to open it up to hold a larger bottle. In my case the plan is to use them to hold spray cans on the end of a telescoping pole to paint tree wounds for pest control, but I believe them to be ideal for mounting on bike or ATV for water. If you don't want to tap and thread the item you're mounting them to, just use some 1" self-tapping screws available from any hardware department.

Cages are lightweight and easy to install, but also flimsy and not the right shape to hold 16oz water bottles, larger water bottles, or those insulated cylindrical 20oz bottles. I found that the one I installed under my seat is too shallow to fit a regular height water bottle in, so I bought two but can only realistically use one on my bike. Bummer. I basically have 1 water bottle they can hold and I own about a dozen re-usable bottles total, so that is a little disappointing. That said, they were not terribly expensive and they don'g add weight to my ride. I will probably replace these pretty quickly for something I can actually use.

After having a water bottle bounce out of its cage a couple of times on a ride, I needed to replace the plastic cages which did not hold the bottle well enough. These cages keep a good grip on the water bottle. It is a snug fit to slide a bottle into the cage. For extra security, you could also bend the inside bracket in a little which should be just about where the hand grip is on a standard water bottle. The cages are made of good quality and my weld joints appear to be good. These cages come with the proper metric sized screws to fit the cage braze-ons on my bike frame. The package also includes a hex wrench to tighten the nuts. The cage brackets have slots to accommodate various spacing between the braze-ons. They fit with no problem on both the seat tube and down tube.
