Good pre workout boost, Tested for Banned Substances & Approved by Informed Sports
As well as getting the VOW KickOff i was lucky enough to get to try the Half Time gel as well & have been using them both over the last few weeks. I can see why they would be a popular choice for getting a decent pre workout fix as its helps offer hydration plus boosts your Energy & focus, they contain 75mg of caffeine & 22g Carbohydrates & other ingredients to give you that all needed boost without being heavy on the stomach. I know 75mg of caffeine doesn't seem a lot compared to some pre workout brands I've tried in the past which has had up to 340mg but normally when i would workout on a work day i wouldn't get chance to train until after i got home from work so it would leave me struggling to get to sleep later that night so i actually prefer having less caffeine on a workday. The other good things with these gels is they pack a lot in a small size so they don't sit on your stomach as you can get all the benefits without consuming a lot, because i've done it in the past & had a 500ml pre workout to soon before starting training & then had it sloshing around while i'm trying to workout which is not fun at all, as it takes your focus away from the job in hand & ruins the training session. Which is where these energy gels from VOW come into their own as they can offer hydration & energy without the risk of any bloating as your only consuming a small 60g packet. VOW has three gels that are all set up to give your body the best ingredients it needs at the right time so the KickOff has caffeine to give you that starting boost, the HalfTime is energy & electrolytes to keep you going mid session while the FullTime gives you BCAA's for the recovery. I personally think these would suit athletes for things like long distance running, cycling or other endurance sports as you could get that all needed boost without having to ingest a lot, plus they are light & easy to carry, suitable for Vegans, tested for banned substances & approved by Informed Sports. As for the flavours i've tried the apple & orange ones so far & they both tasted pretty good. Overall though i definitely see VOW's potential & would recommend it to others although i feel its geared up for more higher end athletes that compete rather than being for myself.

Taste not great, not ideal for sports
I tend to use energy gels before I play football. They help give you that extra carb boost without sitting heavy on your stomach. Didn't really enjoy these, flavour wise a pretty bogging aftertaste. And the caffeine made me and my brother both feel a bit ill towards the end of games. Could be good for a gym user for but for football and other aerobic activities maybe not.

Recommended for sports activities
I’m using it three times a week before my football sessions. They start at 8pm so I get really hungry but using these give me just enough energy and it also fills me up in a way that I don’t feel the hunger. Taste could be a bit better, but the 2nd and 3rd sachet taste better, as you get used to it. The football session also goes better since I have one of these!

Tastes nice
These sachets of energy gel contain loads of caffiene to give your performance a boost before exercise. They taste nice (I had the apple flavour) and go down easily. Not sure if my performance has actually been improved but worth a try.

Nice & Sweet- Good Price For 12
As a keen road cyclist and a bike repairer I am always interested in cycle related items and components plus any new technology that becomes available. I use gels when out on my road/TT bikes and saw these so thought I'd give them a try. I've had Vow gels before and found them good and had no issues with regards to stomach upsets etc. I got the Apple flavour which I get with my normal SIS gels and these sachets are the same size as my existing and have some similar ingredients. These gels should help to give me a carbohydrate shot as well as caffeine boost before I start which is beneficial pre and during exercise. The apple flavour was similar to what I'm used to albeit a fair bit sweeter but I must say I like that as I have a very sweet tooth, but may not be to everyones taste. Its always a job to tell how good gels work , but I kept it going on a very windy day and certainly suffered no stomach upset or the like. They are actually very good value for the12 (£10.99 at the time of the review) and much cheaper than my normal choice. So for future use I will be looking at what other flavours they do if they stay at this price. No complaints .

Convenient coffee's worth of caffeine
These gels definitely have a bit of a kick to them. 75mg is very roughly equivalent to a simple cup of coffee (filter, instant etc.) and to me it has a pretty similar effect- a short-term mental excitement that makes you feel consciously more alert, followed an hour or so later by an unwelcome drop. So I’d describe it as like having the effects of coffee, without the taste. Instead the gel is moderately palatable, but I would stop short of calling it nice. The apple flavour is very much on the sour side of apple sweets, but without the sugary twist. It’s not bitter though, nor does it have the metallic tang of some other sports drinks- instead the lingering taste is one of a slightly odd squash, or an apple Tango that’s been allowed to go very very flat. The smell is both slightly nicer and slightly more organic-like than the taste. I wouldn’t eat one just for fun, but for a bit of an athletic push, it’s not too much trouble nor too unpleasant to squeeze one down. The sachets are moderately convenient. A 60g sachet actually feels like rather a lot- I initially expected to down it in one go, but instead I preferred about a quarter of the sachet at a time, meaning I had to find a way of propping it up to stop it leaking out, as once it’s open, there’s no closing it. It’s easy to squeeze out though, and thankfully you don’t end up faffing about trying to get the last bits out like you do with a tube of toothpaste. For a bit of a pre-match caffeine kick, there’s definitely a convenience and a practicality to this, and if I could find a flavour that I actively liked rather than just tolerated, I’d probably be giving it five stars.

Buen producto, pésimo envío.
Un buen producto pero el envío fue un calvario, hasta firmar un documento en aduanas, lamentable.
