This notebook cover works great, just what I needed! The 4x6 cover will fit a 4x6 hardcover notebook/sketchbook perfectly, and still has room in the interior pockets for a few other things, without being to tight to zipper close. The nylon is sturdy and matches perfectly (color black) with my Maxpedition Remora, and it fits in the back interior pocket of the Remora to boot! The notebook I chose was the Kraft Sketchbook Notebook (4.4 x 6.2 Inches, 2-Pack) from Paper Junkie here on Amazon, which is a perfect fit. Very satisfied with the cover and the fact that it works well with the other pieces.

Love this notebook holder. Use it to take notes at work and at home. Holds several pens and pencils in front pouch. Holds one main pen next to main notepad. Well made product. Also love that I can add my own morale patches.

This cover is great. The headline of the description said WITH checklists. The checklist accessory is NOT included and that made for a little disappointment when I received the item. It still gets four stars for quality, but they lose a star for failing to describe it properly in the headline.

Good product

Fits 5x7" notepads great but I bought it for 4x6". The cover is large and unnecessarily bulky for a small 4x6" notepad. The strap on the front is too loose to hold anything in a practical manner. I have the larger version that fits 5x8" "Field Book" notepads quite nicely, so I wanted another made specifically for 4x6" which the product title seemed to imply. I use 4x6" when I'm packing ultralight for mountain top radio activations. Size and light weight were the key priorities for me.I like the other version I have and would consider getting an actual 4x6" notebook cover, but now I don't trust the advertised sizes.Minus one star for troublesome return process. Have to print label and procure own packaging (maybe can reuse USPS flat rate envelope?). Much prefer dropping off at whole foods.

My husband is a wildland firefighter and needed something to carry his note pad and pens in. Most of the firefighters have one called a man purse because it's a smaller version of this and fits in there pockets. This was too big for what he needed but we kept it to use it for camping or travel.
