BANDAIVile Megaman X - D-Arts

Vile is the best so far in the D-arts line of Mega Man figures. He definately looks the best in terms of clean seams on his various pieces, and the paint job is really well done on every little detail. He comes with a lot of acessories as well. As with other figures, you get multiple hands (Including the one hand meant only for holding the bourbon glass, which is his coolest accessory). You also get both cannons for the backpack, and pegs to insert into the backpack when the cannons are not connected. I believe the ammo belt can be inserted into either side of the cannons.You get an entire second upper leg to use with the leg cannon. The leg cannon is attached by actually removing the gold trim from the left bottom leg piece (Only the left leg gold trim is removable) and then the entire additional upper leg assembly with the cannon is swapped out to make the leg cannon. Now, several people have commented the additional upper leg piece is not necessary, but if you look closely, it is necessary. The reason is that the second upper leg piece is slightly different to allow better posing of the gun. The cutout for the groin area is slightly wider to allow more of a 90 degree pose, and the leg is slightly shorter (by a few mm) to keep the figure from being lopsided when kneeling with the leg cannon exposed. Put the two leg pieces side by side, and you will notice the difference, but unless they are side by side, the differences are too subtle to even tell.Of course, all three cannons have removable tips, so you get three tips with the clear gems in them, and three open tips for using charged shots from other figures. Unfortunately, Vile does not come with any bullets/charged shots of his own, but if you have other figures in the D-arts line, those can be used on any of his three cannons.Vile is very durable compared to some of the other figures in the series. If you look at my other reviews, you will notice that the Mega Man X with full armor is the least durable of the series. I went through two of those figures, both of them having joints that were stuck together too tightly, and broke upon opening the package and trying to position them. Now, that figure is superglued together on one arm and cannot be posed. This issue is not present with Vile. All of the joints work flawlessly and he is extremely durable for posing.So far, I would say that Vile is the best figure in the series, and if you have any of the other D-arts mega man figures, I would highly recommend adding Vile to your collection.

It looks awesome. It feels a little light while you are posing it but once you get it right, dont touch it and it will be fine. I wish the feet were solid to keep the figure planted. The little parts that fit into his back to attach the guns are loose so i had to use a little bit if tissue paper to get them to fit snug. The arm on the 2nd gun is crooked, so I cant attach both to the back. The gun is crooked enough that the head gets in the way of using it. Im ok with leaving it off though, but FYI in case you have the same issue.

This figure excellently represents Vile's original look from the original Mega Man X, with spot-on proportions. The articulation is incredible for the figure's scale, and the extra hands and interchangeable knee cannon really make the flexibility of the figure top-notch. As a first figure release of Vile in his X1 incarnation, this one's a must for series collectors.

While Vile isnt one of my favorite characters, he certainly has an amazing design that made him worth picking up.Pros+ Amazing Sculpt+ Accurate to his Original X1 Design+ Beautiful Paint (Shiny Gold parts, Pearly-White Parts)+ Slew of Accessories (2 shoulder canons, Knee Canon, Shot Part, and Bourbon Glass [Reference to the Rockman X Manga])+ In Scale with the rest of the X figuresCons- This is purely subjective, and it doesnt reflect my view, but has the Sigma Logo on his helmet, as this figure is based (much like X and Zero V1) on his original Mega Man X1 appearance, in which he had a Sigma Logo, as opposed to more recent art (like Maverick Hunter X) which has a Red V logo instead. It might turn some people away who were hoping for his own logo

This figurine managed to have all the awesome of Vile in the Megaman series and Vava from the Rockman comics. He comes with a whiskey glass with little pieces of ice in it! Not real ice, as that would melt in the package and be stupid. But in the comics, Vava the Maverick Reploid is drinking whiskey inside the saloon of a western style town that has recently been redeveloped as a massacre sight. Why do reploids have whiskey, even alcohol? That's a stupid question, because obviously only bad-guy reploids drink alcohol and it makes them look bad-ass so that validates having alcohol in the first place. They can't even taste it and here is Vile drinking away because it makes him look bad-ass. Also, when you have a philosophical commentary on being a reploid, he looks much less of an idiot and more like a bad-ass because he has whiskey.Buy this toy/figurine/action figure/bad-ass reploid pose-able character from a video game. He can sit on your desk and drink!

As a megaman fan this was a must have for me. The posing is top notch, the accessories with it are a neat touch too like the bourbon glass, my only complaint is the high price of D arts figures which most likely comes down to the scarcity of the products plus when there sold out they are harder to get as well, so if the companies produced more it would be a good thing to see.This product is wonderfully crafted and if you are a fan of the X series its worth getting a hold of one.

紫のボディにパール塗装が上から塗られており、ロックマンＸ同様メカっぽさが上手く表現されています。手首などのパーツは可動式ではなく、それぞれのポーズに合わせた形をした非可動式となっています。足も大きいので自立可能です。付属パーツは手首の他に脚部の膝辺りに内臓しているカノン砲、付け替え式です。バックパックに背負うキャノン砲は２つ付属しており、原作では片方だけに装備していますが、Ｄ−ａｒｔｓオリジナル仕様ということでガンキャノンのように２つとも装備する事が可能。２つ付けると圧倒的な存在感、より強敵感が出て格好良いです。ただ取り付ける部分の固定力が弱いのでキャノンの角度を変える際にバックパックの付け根までスライドしてしまいます。どうでも良いことですがＶＡＶＡってスターウォーズのボバってキャラに似て・・
