Just used this to change my oil. It worked like a treat. I managed to get 4l out and my capacity is 4.3l. Drove the car for 10 mins to get the oil warm.My local garage wanted 120 quid for an oil and filter change. Took me 15 minutes and saved 80 quid. Got oil, filer and this device for around 40 pounds.If this breaks I will just buy another one. It’s well worth it. I didn’t fancy getting the car on ramps, undoing all the clips and pulling off the tray. This was so easy.Would highly recommend. This is all the garages use but in a larger scale. Managed to fit an air filter and air filter. Car is good as new now.

A very usefuyul equipment. I used it to reduce the amount of engine oil in my Vauxhall Insignia and it served very well as described.

Could do with some better instructions or just a in and out on the motor.Found need to push the thin pipe deep in through the dip stick hole to reach the oil.Did a decent job , 95% of old oil out .I recommend

Very good pump. I used to use a hand pump to get engine oil sucked out of the car through the dip stick, as that broke, I decided to take a chance on this motor. You attach it to the car battery for power, and away you go (there's a separate on-off power switch on the motor body). The pump has good suction for warmed up diesel oil (heavier engine oil), you can tell when there's nothing left to suck as the pump changes tone, so switch off then. This pump makes it so much easier and faster to change the engine oil, I wonder how I managed to slog away without something like this so many years.

Very easy to get the suction hose down into the sump through the dipstick tube, rigid enough to be able to twist it about and get all the corners. It's noisy, so you can easily hear when it's pumping oil and when it's pumping air.Where I live there aren't any horizontal areas to get a car on ramps for an oil change, but this pump let me suck all 7 litres out of the corners of the sump that should only have 5.5 litres in it! Very useful and well worth the price if you want to service your own car but can't use the sump plug because you live on a hill.

We used this to drain some hydraulic oil from a small (3.5l) tank.Hooked it onto a spare battery and set it going. It's very slow, after ten minutes only about 1l had been pumped. Right from the start, it sounded sickly and made grinding noises.I wandered off and left it going. Came back after another ten minutes and the motor had seized solid and there was smoke coming off the wires and out of the pump. Melting the paint on our equipment and nearly causing a fire.There's no fuse or overcurrent protection, A VERY dangerous omission for a device like this which is 1: likely to seize up, 2: to be used with flammable liquids and 3: has croc clips to go directly onto a large battery.I wouldn't recommend buying this pump, and if you do already own one, NEVER EVER USE IT WITH ANY FLAMMABLE LIQUID! DO NOT let it run unattended.I cannot return this as it's outside amazons 30 day window.Don't waste your money.

very good pump. easy to use. I had some difficutly in the begining but that was due to not pushing the inlet pipe far enough into the oil pan. once i sorted that it did the job really well.

Una bomba de extracción muy útil para realizar un cambio de aceite.La he utilizado solo una vez, pero ha funcionado bien, aspirando todo el aceite en apenas 4 -5 minutos... Pero basta arrancar el motor al ralentí solamente 5 minutos, pues yo lo tuve 10 y al comenzar a succionar se detuvo un par de veces unos 10-15 segundos debido probablemente a la alta temperatura . Luego funcionó seguido sin detenerse.

Ça fonctionne très bien, ça aspire très bien et assez vite. J'ai fait les vidanges de mes 2 motos et du quad. Je vide d'abord le tout avec la pompe avant d'enlever le bouchon de vidange pour le restant; mais il n'y a pas de restant, juste des gouttes. Un bruit un peu soutenu: ne pas se servir de la pompe a coté du bébé qui dort mais dans un atelier il y a bien pire! Finalement très content de ce petit investissement qui me simplifie la vie et optimise la propreté des lieux. Je branche cette pompe sur une batterie extérieure.
