Favorite backpack!
This is by far my favorite "mini" backpack that I have found. I even have two! It's small enough that I'm not reminded of yesteryears' torture and the book bags we carried that were definitely heavier than us. Yet it's big enough that I'm able to carry all my regular "purse" necessities, basic diaper bag stuff, and the handful medical supplies for my medically complex kiddo. Since using this bag I've recommended it in mom groups as a diaper bag many times.I know it's not their thing but if they made fun colors, I would buy those too! Now that I have hyped this up again I might just buy a new color and dye it myself.

Maybe a little small for a elementary school aged kid. Works fine for my high schooler since she doesn’t take as many things home every day. Would be perfect as a day bag. VERY cute!
