Worthwhile purchase.
I got this for soundbaths to use with my singing bowls. Nice size for the price. Beautiful sound and it feels really grass roots handmade. Only thing it was quite rough and prickly. It felt like I could get a splinter, so I sanded down the prickly parts (for safety). Easy enough with sand paper. I didn’t care for the little rasta band on the end, so I cut it off. I decided to decorate it by painting it with acrylic paint which went on easily.

Quality product
I bought one just like this at a truck-stop off I-90 about 30 years ago. I lost track of it over the years. I loved that one and I love this one. The sound is so soothing.

Beautiful and well crafted. Buy one!
Each kid got their own rain stick for Xmas this year (a smaller one for the two year old). They love them. The sticks make beautiful sounds and can be shaken to a rhythm or gently tipped for that dreamy rain sound. Bonus: the sticks are thick and sturdy enough they haven’t yet been turned into weapons. Oh, and also they support and good cause and stuff.
