I am a novice painter, and this set gives me everything I need at a great price. It's an excellent selection of shapes and sizes. There's also a small amount of room to tuck another brush or two into the case if I need a palette knife or a stippling brush. Very handy.

I really loved this set I received as a gift. Now you must know I am no painter just love arts and crafts. So I use them for things like painting potters, metal containers, glass jars, and even wood. They came in a very nice black zippered case, with a good support in it not flimsy. They were easy to wash the paint off and they dry quickly. The paint brushes are smooth, long enough for big hands and little hands, they paint sharp and accurate.

A nice set of starter brushes for any artist. Be careful cleaning them. I've had some bristles start to fall out after the first use while cleaning them. Thankfully they're so inexpensive it's not a big deal to replace.

Nice set of brushes, but in just a month or two, the brushes show some wear. One that tapered to a nice point now looks a bit ratty, has some uneven hairs, and a loosened ferrule. I’m not very experienced with oil painting, but if and when the time comes to buy more brushes, I’ll probably opt for a higher quality set.Update: Avoid. I’ve got brushes so old I don’t remember where they came from, and they’re still usable. From this set, two or three have come apart, and I epoxied them, and another broke! Not the wood, the soda-can thin ferrule snapped in half during normal cleaning. Others are wobbly, and or have not retained their original shapes. Garbage with nice carry case.... carry to dump. I wouldn’t even give these to a student cause you might ruin their love of art early on.

The fan brush is a little annoying with the way it keeps trying to bunch, and the wood for all of the brushes doesn't feel very solid, but overall they're not bad.

I bought this awesome brush set for my 11 year old granddaughter. She loves them. She likes the variety of sizes of the brush bristles. They also stand up well and can be kept neatly in the pouch it comes in. She loves to paint. Thank you for making a good product.

I teach art, and will be recommending this set of brushes to all my beginners this fall...it is all they will need for the first year. What an inexpensive way to see if art is for you. These are good to learn with!

The quality of the brushes are great but the package had this huge white stain on it. Like, really?
