I bought it for the locks and not the outlet covers. I used it to keep my kid out of my nightstand and the broiler (he was trying to use it for standing). It's a bit of a hassle for me to unlock.I removed one using hair dryer and rubbing alcohol. It possibly caused minor damage to my nightstand (I cannot say for sure).There is no reason for the added 3M tapes because you cannot thoroughly remove the previous tape from the locks making it become trash.I noticed on the box that Part A and Part B are mislabeled. The steps show putting Part B on first and then Part A so you should look into correcting that.I do not like that (going according to the diagram) Part B does not lock into place.

These locks and outlet covers are perfect! I do not have knobs on my cabinets so I can not use the traditional locks that zip locked around the knobs. These locks also do not have to be screwed into anything. They simply stick onto your cabinet fronts which is a little nerve racking because I was afraid at first it would peel the cabinets but I pulled two off and it was fine. These are very child proof but easy Anouilh for an adult to easily open. The plug covers are also great. I was a bit nervous that they need a key to remove, since I lose everything. However, I learned that I could just as easily pop it out with the tip of a butter knife (don't stick it in the socket, just behind the plastic cover...). I a very happy with these items and I will be ordering another set for the in-laws and more outlet covers for me house. I received this product at a free or discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I have never seen child locks quite like these, but I am so glad I found them! My son could get the regular outlet plugs out with his little fingers, but not these! These have a little fish that fits perfectly in a small hole to pull it or of the outlet(see pictures). The other locks have a command strip on both ends to hold it to any surface. These are easy to apply, just peel and stick. my only problem with these is they can be a bit awkward trying to put on cabinets. Overall though they are pretty good and I would buy these again!Disclaimer: I purchased this product at a discounted rate for my honest review.

Completely worthless. Do not stick to porcelain, so no good for toilet seats, and as to wood cabinets; my 11 month old Son got them off in less than a day.

These suck! I put them on my trash can to keep the lid closed, i followed all instruction, which were confusing, and then suck the locks on! They unstuck themselves by the next morning, I tried with another set to see if I did it wrong the first time and it was worse the second time! Don't buy it's a waste of money and brain power!

The concept of these are cool however after about a week the sticky adhesive backing fell off and I found my child rummaging through my cupboardsI think if you were to reinforce it with some gorilla glue it would probably do the trick

I bought these specifically to put on the garbage cans that I keep in my twin's room. I installed 2 on each can 100% according to the directions, but they will not stay on. The sticky tab pops off about a minute after I stick it on. The only way that I am seeing that these will work is if I super glue them to the trash cans. Very frustrated.

After trying so many kinds of locks, this one fits perfectly. It looks very aesthetics in a nice clear color, very easy to use and install, didn't damage my cabinet like the other kinds. The delivery was fast, it has amazing quality, and has a structure built to last for a very long time. I would truely recommend this to anyone who needs a child lock for their household.
