It is an outdated device; not capable of the speeds a new Wi-Fi dongle can receive but it worked for what we needed it. My wife used this for work on an old desktop she had which had no Wi-Fi. Her work did not demand a high-speed connection so, this was an affordable way to get her Wi-Fi on her old desktop. I recommend this product!

I purchased this item to take advantage of the internet speed I have at home (100mbps). This item works perfectly fine and has not given me any trouble since the original purchase date of June 22, 2018. I have tested the internet speeds time and time again and it seems to be holding up just fine as it did the first day I purchased it. It has pretty good range too, my computer and router are at completely different ends of the house and it still picks up the signal just fine(10 meter distance). The only complaint that I have is that it kind of sticks out, but that should not deter such an efficient product. Bought this for my downstairs Win 10 Desktop since I had no way of running an Ethernet cable down there. Installation was easy. The PC doesn't have a CD drive but it was simple enough to download the drivers from the company website on another computer and put them on a flash drive. My PC gets a good solid signal and after three years it's still working great. Can't ask for much more in a $15 purchase.Only complaint I have is every now and again Windows 10 stops recognizing the USB device. Removing and plugging back in fixes it, and it happens so infrequently it's not a big deal. Great product

I’ve bought three of these ANEWKODI USE wifi adapters over the years and they had worked fairly well. Drivers off the disk work as Windows was not able to recognize it on its own. Although this seems typical of most wifi adapters and windows. Out of the three that I bought, two have completely crapped out in the last month. One was likely due to bumping into it and cheap construction, but the other was never touched and failed anyway.One is still hanging in there for now. It is a good temporary solution, but if you can I would advise an internal PCI slot antenna if possible.

This is an amazing product. I bought it here in Amazon last year (2018) because the hinge on my laptop broke and messed with the Wi-Fi. It was a very easy set up. You don't have to use the CD It came with as they send you a site to download the necessary drivers. It works like a charm. Never had a problem with it and I get a much higher signal than I would with the inbuilt Wi-Fi on my laptop. 10/10 would recommend to get a hysterical and for old desktops as well.

Anewkodi WiFi Adapters shown in picture are all of ones that are not working. My agency purchased many WiFi Adapters over a couple of years. They work great at first but eventually quit working for unknown reasons. Anewkodi replaced their products under warranty the first couple of times I contacted them. However, in the last 10 months I have contacted them repeatedly in order to have 3 of the adapters replaced under the warranty. After several email contacts where they would not commit to replacing their product under the warranty and finally quit responding. My agency is now using a different product.

I have purchased two of these over the last couple years, and they both are great. The first one is on an older HP desktop computer that is in a location where it's not possible to use a wired Ethernet cable. This USB wireless dongle has been fantastic. I liked it so much that I bought another and keep it in my "just in case" box -- I've used it on computers that are having network issues, etc. If I ever need another, I'm going to get another of these.

new wireless adapter should show active bars and work perfectly. I am pleased with the performance of this device. I love the low profile. Also, it has a small flashing blue light on the device, which provides a visual confirmation that it is working. My only concern is that there are no installation instructions provided for Windows 10 users. I've tried to remedy that in this review. However, it is an oversight on the manufacture's part that could cause some people to have problems with the installation.

Anewkodi Wireless USB Wifi Adapter comes with the Usb + Antenna attachment, CD with pre-installed driver and a user manual. Setting up the adapter is reasonably easy with the CD provided. In my area the internet frequently drops out and this has allowed me to use my mobile data with my desktop for the first time. For Windows 10 I ran the app and connected through insertion of my network login reasonably easily. Low profile design.It provides the same speeds as internet through my Ethernet cable, this is very useful if youre living out of home with a big packet of mobile data which I can now utilise for my desktop. Overall its a very useful and excellent product for its price point!

Excellent product, works in Windows 10 on a backdated USB 2.0 only machine without any drivers needed. Speeds were good enough to max out my 100mbit NBN connection on speedtest.I believe I was seeing about 260-320mbit speeds on the 5ghz network despite router in the other room and being limited by only a USB 2.0 connection on the computer I was happy with this.

Great connection and maintains connection to router. No dropouts. Have not tested throughput as I have a slow ADSL connection but it is low latency for games
