Good Idea but badly executed
I bought this product because I live in a high rise building so Im forced to use training pads. Unfortunately, she would rip the pad into tiny pieces. The productโs idea is good but ai would have to give it a thumbs down as she always manages to pull the pads out & also chew the black locks on the side.

LOOKS USED AND WRAPPED DIRTY!
Arrived with a lot of sands/dust and hairs. Also overpriced! Costs more than 100aed when it is onlyn 28aed in Daiso. Donโt buy this product.

This is the smallest training pad holder that I can find, good size for my teacup Chihuahua puppy. Just not easy to find the same size pad to match it from anywhere(eg. Pet stores, Walmart etc.) except online...Well I bought some bigger size pads from Petsmart which are cheaper but also thinner than most of other products, then the problem just comes: the clips on both sides to hold the upper layer of the colder to the lower layer barely catch the lower layer (you are supposed to hear a "click" but you can't) because the pad is too big to the holder and the center part of the pad is too thick compare to the edge of it. Well it doesn't give me too much trouble because my dog never plays on it so the pad still stays just not fixed as expected. Overall it's a good product, I like it.

I added turf with puppy absorbent pee pad underneath. I have not got him to pee on it yet but I am working on it. I just got it a couple days ago. I would have just used the puppy pads with this but my puppy likes to chew everything. He chews on the puppy pads and tears them to pieces, will even claw at it from the center so that's out of the question. So I'm going with the turf because it is more secure and he actually leaves it alone. I will add more to my review once I get him to start using it. My puppy is only 9 weeks old so hopefully we will get there soon. So far, happy with this purchase. ๐ **UPDATE** Took 2 days (wrote review 2 days ago but took time to be approved) but he is now peeing on the turf. I just kept putting him on the turf after he ate, played and slept and he figured out that he needed to pee on it and I give him a treat every time he pees and he knows he did good. Sometimes a dog won't or refuses to pee on it unless they smell urine on it so I know it sounds weird but have a male in the house pee a tiny bit on turf for scent (only need to once and your dog will understand). Product is great! For anyone having issues with your dog chewing up the puppy pee pads, measure out a piece of turf (inner edge to inner edge) and put a pee pad underneath. Cut out 2 different pieces of the turf so that when one is dirty, you can put the clean/dry one on while you wash (I hose mine off with soap and water) and air dry the other one. I got a little roll of turf at home Depot but they sell them on Amazon as well, just cut them to size and round the corners of turf to fit perfect inside the tray. I hope my review helps. ๐

This small tray is the best thing since sliced bread! Pads we use: 22 x 22 We own three dogs, two of which are younger than three years old. I trained our second youngest to use his wee wee pads two days after bringing him home (when he was only three months old) and he uses them flawlessly. We took our youngest dog in at the age of 10 months, however, and she wasn't pad trained very well. Everytime she saw our older dog use his wee wee pad she'd follow suit but almost always missed. We tried to run out with her in the mornings and evenings to ensure we wouldn't get stuck wiping tiles and floors but sometimes we couldn't avoid the mess and I was becoming increasingly frustrated. She knew she could use the pad - but she just couldn't get it in the middle! We tried using two pads, changing its position, its location, and spraying the middle of the pad with liquid training products, but nothing worked. Convinced that there had to be a way to get her to wee in the middle of the pad, I searched and found that people recommended using a tray the most, so I searched through Amazon and found this one here. It was slightly cheaper than most trays I'd found, it was a good size, and it looked cute. The holder arrived quickly and came in a sealed bag with instructions. Because it was so new to her, she refused to use it for a few days but as soon as she saw our older dog use it too, she followed suit. As soon as we noticed that she was starting to go on it, we'd be ready to praise her. She's now using it without an issue (for both #1 and #2!!), she always tinkles RIGHT ON IT, and our floors have seen at least 90% less accidents. The pads we use are much larger than the tray but I fold the sides under and it holds on to it perfectly! If your dog is tearing up his/her pads or missing the pad altogher, I totally recommend this pad holder/tray.
