The thickness of the pages is wonderful for watercolours. Lots of sections for kids to write small amounts of details. My 6yo loves it!

My kids and I love this book. We use it in our homeschool curriculum. Beautifully illustrated!

I have been reading this book with my 12 year old who I homeschool as part of her science studies. It is amazing! The text is direct and to the point which we LOVE. It doesn't have all that extra wasteful fluff you get with a text book. It is a great starting point for further studies. There are some things my daughter and I just read and take in and there are other things that really fascinate us and we explore that topic more on our own. Point is we get to decide what we want to learn more about instead of a book trying to overload us with more information on a subject than we need or want. Plus the pictures/visuals are beautiful :) I highly recommend this book if you are someone who wants direct to the point explanations of things that happen and/or occur in nature.

Book is very nicely done. Organized by season with plenty of entry spots - more writing versus drawing areas to track your memories. Cool art with information scattered throughout to draw and learn anatomy of animals and plants. Highly recommend .
