One year later overall still holding
We have a 43 year old asphalt driveway that we were told would cost $11,000 to replace. Ahhh no not doing that yet. I bought multiple buckets about $300.00 plus and a couple days afterward had it newly seal coated. I think that helps seal the patch for longevity. All but one bucket had the consistency to flatten out and become a flat strong patch or crack filler. In two areas I was able to build up to meet a higher level of concrete that was a major trip hazard before. Tamping down with a wood block and hammer was one of the methods I used the other was to use a cement roller and drive over the new install many times. One bucketโs consistency wouldnโt pull together on installation it stayed more crumbly and did not hold. It had poor adhesion and continued to crumble away all year. Overall the area application went well and solved our problem areas. I would use this product again though I wish it was less expensive or had a sale price. Amazon had the best price and free delivery that was convenient as the buckets are heavy. It is great that the product can seal a hole or crack in any weather.

I like this stuff!
A bit more expensive than others but makes up for it in ease of use, setup time, and durability. I was able to fill in a a low spot that was about 1.5ft wide by ~13ft long with 2 pails. No more big puddle!

High priced but well with it.
This stuff is amazing! Super easy to use and once it is down you can drive on it instantly and by the next day it is super strong and durable with no issues in stability. I am curious to see how it holds up over the winter but I think, based on what I have seen so far, it will do much better than regular asphalt patch.

Great for small holes
Works well and easy to apply. Not cheap if you have a lot of pot holes

Good solution for driveway repair
Easy to apply out of the bucket and spread with a shovel. It works as advertised. The 4.0 version of this has a finer aggregate size that I used as a top layer on the 6.0 medium.

Goes down easily with little smell. For driveways it needs a coat of trowel patch. Try 4.0 instead
Highly recommended over the standard bagged asphalt patch from a hardware store. That stuff smells, is hard to get out of the bag and is tough to spread especially in cooler weather. I wound up getting 8 buckets of Aquaphalt over a month and all of it came out of the bucket easily and crumply like wet sand and spread / levelled easily with a 16" wooden paint stirrer. This stuff is pricey but worth it, though I wish the price was half as much. I didn't realize I would use 8 buckets on the dips in my driveway near the garage door but really I could have used 10 buckets. It's too heavy to be shipped in a 10 gallon bucket but getting twice as much at once would be good. It's easy to underestimate how much is needed. This Aquaphalt went down easily and I watered it, tamped it and let it set. It hardened like it is supposed to. The problem I had is with its "rockiness" which is more than my driveway. A thin sealcoating won't hide the difference. I would recommend the finer 4.0 over 6.0 for a driveway because I wound up putting trowel patch over the 6.0 Aquaphalt to fill in the rocky voids. I had to use trowel patch over the bagged standard patch I put down as well so the 6.0 and the standard bagged patch are about the same rocky consistency. I didn't like having to smooth things over with the trowel patch because it is noticeably smoother than the original driveway. All-in-all my driveway has no more dips and looks good from a distance at least where the smoothness of the trowel patch is not noticeable.
