Q: can these be made to fit my 2005 volkswagon beetle as side markers?

They can fit anything you want them to go on. Calling them flush mount may be a little misleading, although accurate. They will stick out from your vehicle about 1" so they are not flush on the vehicle, but the underside does sit flush against whatever is backing it. As others have said, you will have 3 holes to drill... so measure twice, drill once. They are a cheap plastic casing, but feel sturdy enough. They look great when I put them on my trailer as side markers.

Q: Is there 2 lights per package or is there 1 light with 2 LEDs per package? This is kinda confusing.

This ad comes with 2 lights, not 1 light with 2 LED's.

Q: Are these lights waterproof?

I have used these for two different boat trailers. Yes they are waterproof and very bright

Q: what are the dimensions

4 in long x 1.25 wide and about 1 in tall = mine have never worked despite soldering the connections and making sure they are grounded.
