Skullcandy Skullcrusher 2011 Blue Pinstripe Headphones - S6SKDY119

I just got these a few days ago and so far they're everything I expected. They aren't noise cancelling but they do a pretty decent job at blocking out any outside noise (as good a job as my boyfriend's Sony noise cancelling headphones). Unlike the Sony's these also fit very nicely. I wear glasses so over-the-ear headphones tend to cause them to squish into or push my glasses off of my face. These fit well around my glasses and are very comfortable to wear. So far I've used these headphone for a few hours at a clip in trying to write my thesis and they've remained pretty comfortable. My only complaint with these is that the remote for the sub-woofer is a little weird to use (the control for it is a small wheel on the side that is a bit difficult to turn). Other than that these are great headphones. I highly recommend these for anyone who is looking for a decent pair of headphones to block out a lot of noise but doesn't want to shell out $100+ for a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

I got these more for stylish purpose than practical. They're made of a cheap feeling plastic, but they seem to be pretty durable, I've had them about 6 months now.They are pretty quiet even for 30mm drivers, but the subs are what really sell it. It provides a distinct and practical purpose for over ear headphones out and about. The subs are battery poweredand will last on a single double A battery for about a month with 3-4 hours use a day, provided you turn them off when not in use, if you leave them on all the time, they'll last a few days.They rest well around the neck when idle, but after they're broken in the ear covers are a lot more loose. Not an issue when you're wearing them, but around the neck they canend up awkwardly positioned. If you want a quality set of headphones, I'd take a pass. But if you want something that stands out. These are a pretty solid buy.

These headphones sound great and although the model is somewhat old-time But to this price! Excellent product at a great price, and also free shipping. Faster than I thought, 2500 miles in just 3 days. Sounds good to me. Fast, furious and free. Certainly mention that the color matches perfectly with my Sony Vaio.

They didn't last very long before completely breaking. Unfortunately I didn't realize at the time that skull candy offers life time warranty or I woulda got another!

well, for 40 some dollars these headphones kept me some what happy. They do have decent bass. But bass that cuts out all the other parts of the music, and doesn't have good quality on any of the other segments of the music. Then after a month of listening on them, normally at around 50 to 75% volume on my ipod, the bass part of the headphone is blown. and now it is a 40 dollar pair of headphones that are worse than a 5 dollar pair of ear buds. so pretty much, i shouldn't have cheaped out and bought skullcandy when all of my buddies said they sucked. i guess i learned my lessson.

It was packaged amazingly! Unopened, etc. I tried them in my Verizon Wireless Droid Thunderbolt and the sound was BEAUTIFUL! The bass is seriously a skull shaker! hahaha! You can turn it off and on, and thankfully my cell has settings to make the sound even better, however, at times there is a loud squeak sound that happens when you hit the jack port and if you move alot while plugged in the phone....but I use it for watching NETFLIX on my phone when I can't watch it from a TV or anything. The color is very bold and I just love it----when I am not using them I actually put them on display as a decoration hahahaha...

I fell victim to the fake beats. I ordered some Audio Technica's, and honestly both sounded ok but lacked serious bass. I've found the pair of bass headphones I was in the market for. The Skullcrushers have more bass than one needs. Not to say it in a bad way. But your head will vibrate from these. Personally I find that awesome. I've read reviews that say the mids and high's aren't very good or loud but I like them. You can always mess with your mp3 players EQ to find the perfect balance. Not to mention the adjustable bass knob. I love these headphones. I can find a con with them though, although it isn't bad enough to give anything less than a 5 star rating. If you have a big head, these will be snug on you. I have it on the biggest setting and they're a little tight. Also the plastic feels pretty cheap when you're putting it on and taking them off your head. Makes you think they could break the second you're not overly careful with them. Still though, 5 star rating. Buy them.
