Are these water or sweat resistant? Good option for gym?

They are not water or sweat resistant. I would not use for gym they have a light clamp force and would most likely fall off.

How do you pause/play or go forward to the next song on these? Are they touch sensitive?

Yes, the one right earpiece is touch sensitive.

Can the type-c wired connection provide a better sound quality? Or it could only stream bluetooth audio?

It actually seems a bit worse wired.

Can you replace the ear pads?

Yes, pads are available either from Bang & Olufsen or from the body manufacturers with high-quality leather or fault later
