You have the green light...
This Tripp Lite Isobar is solid and has served me well. I purchased this item when I was in TN. Storms would come without warning and electrical grid power surges were an almost every day occurrence. For less than $100. I purchased an item to save my computer that is well worth over $1000. In fact, there is a good chance I will be purchasing a few more. This protector is well made and includes EMI/RFI filtering with isolated filter banks, which I really, really like, as well as a long cord for flexibility in use in distant plugs or a more ideal location for the surge protector. This is not a small, hide underneath a small place item but a very solid, well made suppressor. I've used this companies products for many years in my medical practice and they continue to hold up well. I was not given anything for free nor my opinion/feedback requested. It is given in hopes that you will have the same quality experience I have had with this item.

Just what I was looking for.
Got a CPAP and a tv hook to it. I just needed a newpower strip that could provide excellent protection for my CPAP, tv, phones and tablets connected to the same outlet so, after doing tons of research, I decided to go for a regular Isobar and a power conditioner combo.Right after adding everything to my cart, I saw a medical grade power strip from Tripp Lite on the suggestins and, since I have a CPAP, I decided to click on it to check out. To my surprise, I found out that these medical surge protectors provide a higher level of protection agaisnt surges to people that are connected to them so I did decide to go for th medical grade Isobar so every night I can sleep a little better knowing that I am using the same surge supressor that is used at labs.

Very worthwhile investment..!
Stop everything and buy one (or more) of these! As a musician, we run into places where the power is sub par from time to time.. A few weeks ago, we plugged into a power source that was sending 240v instead of 120v (still with normal 120v receptacles - no way to really know). While the Tripp Lite blew and was dead, it saved our very expensive rack units plugged into it (mic receivers and in-ear transmitters..). And, Tripp Lite warrantied the unit and sent one out within a few days. They rock and I'll never plug into anything without one again.

Sturdy and Solid feel
It's of high quality, for sure. It's hospital grade and you can see it. Definitely recommended if you're looking for something good, strong, well built for your office equipment protection - Highly Recommended

Love it
Works like it should. No issues so far. Built strong. Using it to power my HT system valued at over 50k. So I am putting my trust in it. Used to own an expensive Monster Power Conditioner and it failed after several years.

Happy with these
Happy with these. I'm hopeful they are better quality than "the usual" cheaper brands. They are cheaper than a new big screen TV. ( I once was in the home office when lightening struck and killed the fax.) I bought 3 from this vendor. These have an on/off vampire switch, and as a good citizen of the world I flip the switches off when not in use. Always off at bedtime, except for the one for recharging phone, iPad.

Failed after 8 months.
Glad I was only using for a washer/dryer, and not a life saving device. My $10 surge protectors have endured better than this. Highly disappointed. Called for support and they did not return my call. No point in investing this much money for a substandard product.

Well built - very high quality.
It appears to be overbuilt. Nice specs and extremely good noise filtration. Many appliances send a lot of dirty electrical noise into your circuits. For most this is not a problem but for those who have powerline products or home automation systems that use your home wiring this is a real plus. It actually saves money in that you do not have to put expensive noise filters on each appliance. Inside it is well built as I have lookedat it.
