These lamps are so beautiful! I have them over my island and the light is more of an atmosphere light than a spot light. They also create a beautiful pattern on the ceilings and walls with the weave. Stunning.

NICE! (BUY DIRECTLY FROM IKEA FOR HALF THE PRICE)
Thanks to some comments, I went to IKEA for this, instead (and saved a lot). About the product (if you don't have an IKEA), it's more of a bamboo/firm plastic reed, rather than a woven twine, etc...very nice, though! There are actually three sections, with the top and bottom popping out from the center. I was looking for an interesting shade to a tall, floor lamp, so I cut out the cord and it fit perfectly as a shade (fit on the harp/finnial just fine). The material would appear to handle some moisture, but not sure if it could handle direct weather (sun or rain).

Beautiful shadow-cast effect on ceiling
Paired with the Ikea Sillbo LED bulb, this beautiful pendant creates that amazing shadow-cast effect on our bedroom ceiling and walls that we’ve always wanted. Highly recommend this product from Ikea. Easy to install, light weight yet sturdy. Not sure why it’s double the price on Amazon though.
